i was with boost mobile

anywho, how many phones have you had, what phone do you have, and what cell phone provider are you with?

BTW i'm gunna sell my soul to apple and get the iphone next friday.
i was just waiting to a reason to get one, can't wait :woot

I'm with Qwest cellular, but their shutting down their department, so it's not gonna be around much longer, and they're selling it to Verizon.

I think cell phones are vastly over rated. I mean, if you need to check stock quotes and facebook and listen to music and look at porn and buy Lil Wayne ringtones, then I guess that a snazzy phone would be necessary, but in the end, it's supposed to be a phone.

... but I wouldn't turn down an iPhone, haha.

Ive got an old nokia on o2. I was gonna change provider because it has bad coverage back home, but here at uni it gives the best coverage so I stuck with it. I cant see the point in gettig a realy expensive phone that does everything, Its supposed to be for phoning people.

I have a Samsung, on Orange. I was on Orange since I got my first mobile phone and I wouldn't change it for the world. I swear by Orange. ^__^ I top up with £10 a month and get 300 free texts to UK mobiles..... so that gives me £10 worth of credit to use on Melissa! I wouldn't mind the Camel package though, so texts to Holland are cheaper. :-/

No, you shouldn't. You shouldn't be wasting your money on any consumer technology that is designed to break in less than 2 years. Which is basically all cell phones nowadays. And all mp3 players. And all laptops. Consumer tech companies are like crack dealers.

Nah, what would heighten my stress factor is if I'm on a road trip and my car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and I don't have a cell phone to call anyone to help me. Orrrrr if a crazy dude is chasing me telling me he wants my money and me not being able to call the POLICE with my cell phone. I don't think they were invented to make our lives harder, that's for sure.

A cellphone is pretty useful as long as the only things you can do with it are:
- calling
- messaging

All the other stuff is bah. Like buying a videogame console that is actually a multimedia center for your living room. The only thing that's missing (doesn't matter which uber-super-yeah-thing you buy) is a real big screen and life is perfect. ... not really.

staying connected in an emergency is very important
calling and messaging should be the norm but the gps
is a nice plus. agreed?

okay, agreed, but the people who need that thing for work, just need it to be contacatable in times of "emergency". Most of the time this is just more work, making you stress out, and that makes you unhappy.
I don't wanna live in a civilisation where work is more important then for example family.

another things is that i want to be able to pull up consumer reports one products that my store, Target, sells so i can give better advice to my guest. Not that i care about my job or anything, i just want to have the answers to questions that poeple expect me to have.

believe me, nothing sucks more than saying
"i'm not sure, i'll have to look that up" which is at least once a day.

I can't even use WAP on my phone cuz I'm on Orange and my phone was made for a Vodafone chip. *narf!* But I do mainly use it for calling, messaging, listening to music sometimes and bluetooth and infrared, sometimes.

I like my phones swedish, haha. My mom bought it out from her job when they replaced all the phones with newer ones, so I got it unlocked for like 80 dollars.

I have the same uhh what the fuck do you call it? refill credit phone card? You know what I mean, that I've had forever, it's from Telia, the biggest swedish provider. I'm just not that interested in rates and such since I don't spend a lot of time on the phone. I just pop 15 or 20 dollars on the card from time to time.

so I've got re Jesus phone let me just say it's the best 200 bucks I ever wasted. Sure it's lacking in some features but I believe compare with everything else they can be I've looked. Plus MC.com's never looked better. Now I can spend more time on the site. Like right now while at work.

I have the same phone, except without the thing on the front.

It worked fine for a little less than 2 years and now I randomly don't get calls from certain people whenever it feels like it.

I was on 3 which was the best network I've ever been on with a Pink Sony Ericsson Z610i I THINK.

I had to switch to T Mobile for my new phone but they're also decent and I have another aweome Pink Sony.

It is <3 It does so much and Im really happy with it, I dont use the Camera or Walkman THAT much cause I have a digicam and MP3 Player but for being at work it's awesome.

I have a shitty phone that came with my Rogers contract.
As long as it sends and receives calls and texts and fits in my back pocket I am set.

Bluetooth syncing is nice though.
