I was watching CNN yesterday and it was talking about British forces in Iraq and how they are pulling out 1500 soldiers and plan to keep doing this until they all leave. It was also saying how this was a wake-up call to America from Britain and that this may just be a lost ally.

I can just see America being that last force to leave Iraq.

Your all thinking, ahh there pulling out of iraq. Yes that is the case but they will not be out of there until around Christmas time. I think the iraq army is able to take our place now, so it shouldnt make much difference.

What they ned there now is a good strong leader who dosnt take no for an answer and can sort out all the squabiling factions

But then again the UK went in as well just like the 53rd state its becoming.

Are you serious? Iraq is beyond repair... Saddam Hussein was a leader who never took no for an answer... the next leader will be the new Saddam...

I jst cant think of a way to leave it better than it was before. I mean saddam wasnt a nice guy but people could in general go out and live their lives. How do you clear the place of all the bomber and gunmen?

I would call it the worse fuckup since Vietnam, this has only cost 3-4000 soldiers, not damn near 70,000 like Vietnam.
