I thought that there should be a topic about you and your jobs, and the career you`re interestied in. Going to College or University? Where are you working presently? I guess some of you guys are already to college or university and others are not done high school.
Any way, this is my last year of high school and i`m going in the veterinary technician profession in college. After that, i`m going to University for a Bach in Biology -or- geomatics... not sure

I have 10 weeks left in my college career. After that, with my Literature/Criticism degree, I'm hoping to involve myself in a career with writing. My ultimate goal is to become a sort of mini Roger Ebert.

done it all, got my BAhons and other's etc, got a job, now i wanna go back to Uni but keep my jobs paypacket

I spent more years than I care to count in college trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up lol. Now I just teach myself the certifications that I want, A+, Network+, MCP, etc thankfully have a job that requires that sort of knowledge.

Being into all things networking, its good that i work at verizon wireless, where its all about the network. matches up kinda nicely.

i quit college, now i just work and make as much money and drive/live just as well as college grads. man, life is weird like that. i like it.

For what college? Or am I understanding this wrong? I'm paying about $2,800 this semester for 13 credits, and that's pretty cheap compared to some of my friends, especially the ones studying out of state. I only wish I was paying $150 per credit hour...

I`m going to the Saint-Lawrent College in Kingston On.
They just made the new courses and they changed many things, i think the price came back to what it was, but "meal plan" thing went a bit up.

University, but I plan to get an apprenticeship in Heating/Air Conditioning And/Or Electricity, and I am looking to a career in being an engineer...preferably mechanical. (Designing mechanisms?)

But I am still in grade 9..so. . .

Like Gondee and Mav I'm looking to make a career in graphics design at some point. It's what 'm really passionate about.

Since uni is free here I can pretty much start studying whenever I feel like it, but for now I'm just tired of school so I'm working at McDonalds and distributing newspapers on the side, to save up some money to go travelling this summer or something. Maybe I'll work for another year after this before I go back to school.
