Hi all, this is a thread where you can tell people about a point in a game that really freaks you out.

Mine has to be the torture cutscene in Spycraft: The Great Game, i didn't take the option to remove it while installing, as i just tapped the left mouse button on OK For you who don't know about this scene, it's a cutscene in Spycraft, a game where you are a CIA-Agent, and the torture cutscene is an extremly distubing minigame.

You torture a woman in an electric chair for information that you need (in the game), and i missed the option while installing to remove this scene from the game, making that part an interrogation instead. The latest PC-Gamer in sweden made me remember the scene that i well, was trying to forget =/

Disturbing as in scary or gory?

Any of many scenes in Manhunt, like the machete lvl1 execution.

When transforming into a monster in The Suffering while killing those ugly freaks.

Alternate Midwich Elementary School in Silent Hill 1.

Pyramid Head raep in Silent Hill 2 (classic). PH in the Labyrinth where you get its Great Knife.

Bloody mirror in Silent Hill 3. The entire hellish alternate Hospital.

TV haunting in Silent Hill 4. Bloody Henry haunting in peephole.

Wow, I have played the manhunt, resident evils, silent hills...but I have to say.

When the Mask Salesman gets mad at you in The Legend Of Zelda : Majora's Mask .. well...it was fucking scary

It's really hard to find a picture, but hell I was like "WTF"

In Goldeneye for the n64, I shot Natalya right in the pussy and blood appeared and she didn't die. She just yelped, so I put a timed mine on her and then BOOM!

Also in Counter Strike Source, I saw some guy that was dead and was leaning against a rail by purple water on a surf map. There was another dead dude in the water with his legs spread out. I used a machine gun to shoot the guy on the rail and his head flew right into the other guy's balls.

the scene in Silent Hill for psx where ur in the elementary school and u go to the bathroom, and see a ghost and it's giggling. that seriously made me drop my controller.

The very first game I played on the PS2 was Silent Hill. Hadn't played anything really for many years as I was just getting back into gaming. Remember thinking, DAMN, games have changed!

Biggest Freak-outs:

First experience into the "alter-world" in the SH series. Was playing SH2 (knew nothing of the series at that time) in the hospital and the world changed and you're getting wheeled off on a gurney. Get chills just remember it. I remember actually looking around the room behind me. LOL.

A freaked-out scene was again in SH2 when James is hiding in the closet and you first meet Pyramid Head (I think) and the sounds you hear while he's seems to be molesting some mannequins.

SH3: The fetus scene near the end.



Scariest moments:

Pyramid Head in SH2 down in the labyrinth when he came out of nowhere. Very confined, confusing space.

Running down the long tunnel under the lake in SH2 with the horn getting louder and louder and the tunnel seeming to never end. Perfect nightmare sequence.

The mirror room in SH3 where your image freezes (I thought my controller screwed up) and then the room basically turns to hell.

Manhunt during the Pigsley fight when he jumps out of nowhere with the chainsaw. Only scary the first time through though, but I remember screaming out "Oh Fuck!" like a little snot-nosed kid.

I gotta add to my list that Piggsy scene at the end of Manhunt. Scared the shit out of me the first time.

Also forgot to mention the radio haunting in SH4... the creeps. And when Walter follows you around in Outside Room 302. And the large construction area in the Forest full of ghost-victims where you find the Pickaxe of Despair (a scary weapon in itself).

And Nowhere in SH1. That place is scary just by its name.

lol, I remember thisone time in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland when I'm grinding one of the rails and then it automatically switches to camcorder mode and I was like, "WTF! When did Tony Hawk turn into a survival skateboarding game?!" XD But then I was like, "oh... it was the security cameras..."

But there's this one part in Fatal Frame III: The Tormented, where this girl ghost is standing in the corner muttering to herself and then when you move around, she doesn't notice you, but when you finally take a picture of her, she disappears and then reappears... RIGHT... IN... FRONT... OF... THE... TV SCREEN... Her mouth is all wide open and stiff so are her white eyes, and it just creeped me out to when I dropped the controler and ran out of the living room *did I mention we have a big screen too?*
