soooo..... anybody catch ladies snowboard cross yesterday? the wipeouts were spectacular and the course itself looked a little unforgiving as well but Canada pulled off a silver medal finish so that turned out pretty good

Snowboard Cross Men's event today was AMAZING. The fact that Rechtschaffner is the creator of this is also just awesome because it really did remind me so much of Tricky, even down to the six competitors and the starting gates.

Kij you must have been so pleased with the French success!

I feel bad that I dozed off during mens' SBX, I missed the results for it so I'll probably watch it on my DVR today

The course for the boarder-cross event looked real awesome. The men's hockey is going into the playoffs now, I'm rooting for Sweden. I think we have a fair chance to go far, we just need to really improve our game to be able to play against the tougher countries. All the upcoming hockey games are gonna be wicked great.

Unfortunate for GB women, but I felt the match was lost when Eve's stone picked up in the first end. Jill Officer was off the mark today for Canada so she needs to sort that before the final and Eve and Vicky both played brilliantly. Disappointing but fantastic display by Eve with her final shot.

Just hope that delicious Dave Murdoch and the men can do better this afternoon.

I am really irritated the curling semi finals are on at the same time as the women's figure skating.

Well done Eve and the girls! Bronze in the women's curling and looking forward to the boys tomorrow, hope they can take the gold but even if they don't I really hope they look more pleased with themselves than Sweden did today. Sure you lost but you got SILVER. Be happy!

Yay! Sweden just beat Finland in the men's ice hockey semis! Now we have a chance of winning gold. Later tonight we'll find out if we are up against the US or Canada.

Dave and the boys managed Silver for GB! Shame it was a lame game, they just weren't there today, never turned up, but proud nevertheless!

Elise has a tough draw in her race this afternoon but fingers crossed she can do it, still for Great Britain already it's been a very successful games!

Men's Gold medal hockey game tonight @4am PST, Sweden vs. Canada. who's gonna win it and better yet who are you rooting for?

Canada 3 had a nasty crash in men's 4 man bobsleigh earlier this morning that put them outta commision for the rest of the event and I'm still checking on how the other 2 sled teams for Canada did, but hopefully we finished strong

you have to admit NA Sweden is still playing pretty good defense wise , just those small mistakes they made are what cost them the goals against

update: 3-0 now with a tripping penalty given to Perry (CAN)
update x2: 3-0 is the final score for Canada and they defend their gold medal domination from Vancouver both men's and women's

Fantastic last game, felt for Sweden but still should be pleased with a Silver medal.

All in all, great olympics, some controversies, but now to look forward to South Korea.
