One word...... freefall.
Or two.......... invisible rail.

Those are the rumors I have heard, but then again, they are probably just that, rumors.

well thank you edged boarder for clearing that up nicely. I would have to imagine that is one of the ways FBX ends up with ridiculously low times on aloha ice jam.
I have heard talk of an invisible rail on that track, although it might have been taken out before the game was released into production. I believe I actually first heard this through one of FBX's posts. (I could be wrong here, but am fairly certain that I am not). Anyone else know anything about the "invisible rail"?

I remember thinking for the longest time that the rail before the statue of the mayor in Tricky's Merqury City was impossible to hit.. I thought that it had been taken out, but they forgot to take out the graphics.. :heh

I think I'll always be a n00b, though.. I spend more of my time trying to see if I can do some crazy thing like grinding the loop-de-loop in Elysium Alps backwards.. bwahaha. :thumbsup

Trickt was my first. For the longest time I didn't realize you could do spins/flips while doing an uber. :stupid Like a lot of poeple I thought gold on Alaska was impossible(still hard to me). And as for the difference for the blue and red signs--I never knew that either, thanks! :china

I'm sorry, I had to bump this.......I was doing a challenge for a friend today on SSX3, getting 300k on Kick Doubt while "playing it safe" (ie not falling down), and I remember once upon a time that actually being a challenge.....
But it only took me about 15 seconds....i did 4 level 1 ubers off the first jump, and then did an overseer through the first 10x, first try, no problem whatsoever....bam, challenge complete......
But, as an SSX3 newbie, back when the game first came out, I remember spending over an hour trying to beat that.......... :yes

:(

I played through all of SSX Tricky not knowing that you could spin while you were doing Ubers. One day when I was playing SSX 3, I was like "What's going on?"

:(
