i really think i can take 2nd place


but unfortunately..i dont know how im going to take out fbx on that track

are u using any select tricks on that track? SSX (original) right?



i know that on ssx tricky merqurycity there is one helpful select trick i use but its not the one at the end....

but i do know one, but im not 100% sure its good, more like 99.9999%, if you press select in the sewer part, it'll take you to the bridge, but i mostly dont use select tricks in my runs, only mad crazy ones that you NEED if you want a record (i.e. aloha, or tokyo)

DAAAMNNNN!!!!!!!.....I just got a 1:15.79 on TRICKY MESA .....I smoked HappyMachines ...........but FBX.....not only is he MAD good, he also gets mad lucky...*cough-treebump-cough*....even though I am like .82 way from him I can prolly only bring it down by a .50 at most.... but theres always hope for a treebump ....

have u ever gotten the tree bump? cuz if u do it should give u 1.5 to 2 seconds better time... if you dont know how to do it PM me, ill try to help.

whenever we tried it, it didnt slam you down....it just pushed you forward...which kinda wasted time

Dude Yoshi,Alps I just got a 1:15.11 in MESA by taking MY line ...and I didnt even use the treebump because I found that it wasnt useful all it does is just drags u to the side more and gives u a better chance of getting the glitch thats all ( or maybe i didnt do it right ) ..... but anyways soon I will have the world record.........lets hope its before saturday...cause I heard gondee was going to update Tricky on saturday...

I will possibly be taking a break from merqury city, well, i'll play it, but it wont be 100% of my play time

i was looking at my Untracked run (ssx 1), and as I see it, i realize its not as perfect as i thought it was when i first had the run...

in a way it feels pointless, i beat grandmort by 8 seconds to put me in 2nd place...but im 7 seconds away from fbx

i'll go back and see what ii can come up with, if i get a truly perfect run...but am nowhere near fbx..i might as well give up, since i have no other competition...

i used 1 out of 2 possible select tricks in my 'perfect' run (well, atleast the two that i know"

it is reeeeeeealy hard to use the other one correctly, but if it works, it can shave off a good two seconds...i just need to get red boost before it, or i will be reeeealy slow coming out of it

i'll try looking for more...i hope i get more competion...anyone?...

but ssx4ever, i reeeeealy think you can beat fbx on that track, because fbx punched the second player....you can even see the pic...u didnt (according to your pic)...so if you punch the second player...you can probably beat that record

At the time, I didn't have a second controller, so couldn't get the free boost. Now I have two and no PS2

After all was said and done on this track, FBX and I swapped paths via email. I didn't feel it would be right to go on and try and then beat him, so we both just left it.

We actually used this course to help determine that there was little difference between NTSC and PAL versions. If there was, it would've been insignificant and either system may have had the advantage.

Finally........I beat FBX in MESA by .13..... ..lol... and I am mad happy but the time can be improved....heres a pic.....
