Here's something that's driving me crazy about Tricky...I have a few replays saved..but have no idea how to view them (one of the replays has no wipeouts and nothing but ubers all the way down - keep in mind that I have been playing the game maybe a week now..lol...so to me that's a major accomplishment).

any help would be very much appreciated

Sure my friend! If you want to view the replay videos, just start your game and you'll notice on the bottom right corner of the main menu screens, it'll say press a certain button for options. Once in there, you go save/load data > load replays, and they should all be there!

Anyone know how to take videos of the game without a video camera shaking in ur hand? Is there a way to do this without a vcr?

You can use a capturecard in your pc and create a movie on your harddisk. This is the way most people here made their master run videos.

You could use a tripod.

I made mine with VCR... wasn't really hard, the only bad part was rewinding the tape everytime I hit 2 hours :\

Bleh, I played for almost 5 hours straight until I got my pipedream score. I got my glitch run in that same sitting, sucks I had to tape over that. 700,000+ in classic pipedream.

Yeah, I know what you mean, the damn things shakes too much especially when you're also trying to tap boost at the same time. Try using a one hand controller ;)

No problem you guys, I have the solution to that! It's really a simple design... all you need is your camcorder, a hard hat, and some duck tape..... .... .... :wink

Refer to my referee page on how to record your gameplay onto VCR tapes:

http://www.twingalaxies.com/firebrandx/index.html

Also, you can set the VCR to "SLP" and get 6 hours of recording time instead of 2 hours on a standard tape.

Well, if you have some insane records, you could always send it to me...

I give all my videos to my friend who converts them into a format that can be viewed by all!!

If you have some RECORDS, send me your memory card and I can get my friend to record the replays off of the memory card to his computer...

Camcorder, capture-card, sending a vhs-tape or your memorycard, there's not many more options left.. :)

That is what I said...

Just do the race, and save the replay... Then send me the memory card and I can get the video up on the net for you...

But, if you don't want ANY replay videos, well... You need a capture card then... or a tripod..

Is it possible to transfer the SSX save-file from and to your computer? (through USB or your network-adapter maybe) This would simplify capturing someone else's "Replays" tremendously.

My All-In-Wonder is idly waiting to be put to use.. :wink

I am not toally sure if that is possible..

My friend plays his PS2 through his computer monitor using a program called Digipocket(I believe it is called this)

It allows for a record feature which can they be converted into other files....

It's possible to copy the actual file via Gameshark or similar peripheral to you computer, but the other person needs a Gameshark to download the file to their PS2 and a capture card to capture it when it plays on their computer.

It's not even close to possible to play a replay file on your computer. That would require a valid PS2 emulator, and they've only NOW (3 years after the fact) been able to create a PS2 emulator that will only BOOT a game, much less play it. :dead

Well, Devil, have you got a GameShark?
