Returning Characters, New Characters, or CAC's?

Which would you rather for this version of SSX? Or which do you think they'll use?

I think it would be nice to see a full set of ten new characters but I doubt it would happen. Though half and half would be good as well. So would all characters coming back. I just hope that if they do a cac, they attempt to do it right or at least a little better this time around.

Both really, but make the characters customizable and playable, that's what's most important. By removing them from the game, they homogenize the game and leave it without a good portion of it's appeal.

Word. It sounds simple and stupid, but when you remove characters from the game, you remove the character of the game.

No CACs. None.

Keep the old characters, and bring in new ones. To show the relationship of Zoe and Moby, make one of Zoe's unlockable shirts a T that Moby owns.

I'd love to see the old characters return with a ton of ways to customize them, like ssx 3 but even further. (I wasn't to sure what I wanted in the first post, lol)

Returning + New characters thta have an extensive bolt-on system. Honestly, I never like CACs... chances are they don't really look like me. :heh

same here... a handfull of old caracters that are musts and a whole bunch of over the top new ones... not shitty "i have no personality and am very bland" characters though... colourful, out there ones....

yeah exactly. fuck new characters, the new ones in OT were so forgettable and mediocre that it makes even former characters like marisol (my favorite obviously, but i know she's forgettable) seem like she's on elise's level. bring every character back, and give them a shitload of customization. that'd seriously be the best way possible. and besides, a lot of casual gamers probably don't even remember earlier characters like hiro, jurgen, seeiah, brodi, etc., so they'd seem new to them anyway.

There should be at least a few new ones but I would still prefer ALL returning character minus Viggo, Skye, Tyson and Sid...

Bring back everyone else plus maybe three or four well thought out new ones.

With a bitching bolt on system that gives each character a very unique variety of clothes and such(instead of 1000 beanies).

Not only would I want the old characters (all of em) back, but also their voices (eg Bif for Zoe). Some new characters would also be a welcome addition.

As for cac mode, once its in a game (like smackdown vs raw) then it can only get better and built on/extended every version. As long as it is kept as an option and not like OnTour where it was the only way you could play Id be happy, I for one would love to play as some of the characters Ive drawn.

The best option (for me anyway) is to follow wipeouts (psp) idea of uploadable graphics through a EA SSX website. Imagine everyone being able to upload their own board graphics for their favourite character and see them in the game, now that would please me more than any other option. :woot

But when I say all the old characters, I mean ALL of the old characters. Not the new ones that were mediocre or Viggo because he is so totally gay. I mean ALL of them. I would love to see Seeiah with a purple afro.

We do have DJ Atomika back for this iteration (it sounds like, anyway). Whether or not this means we have the rest of the OG voices back, I don't know, since this SSX is being made by a studio out of Montreal and not the one in Vancouver.

It would be great if they got everyone involved again, get some character back into the game. It looks like the've given ssx3 a overhall from the short trailer ( a kind of ssx to ssxtricky we might now have a ssx3 to ssxblur makeover) so it could be a reasonable guess that they might just use the back catalogue of old voice overs.........if it turns out ok......I might consider a wii based on how much I love to play ssx3....who knows!!!!!!

If it is an SSX3 overhall then the turnaround for a release could be soon.

Wow! I just saw a vid on IGN and rushed straight over!
I'm not sure about the characters, I would like them to look more like in PS2, not "chibi" I think the word is.
Tiger Woods Golf = CAC
SSX = NOT CAC
I want them to bring back the old characters! Especially Seeiah and Marisol! Also the Alpine and Freestyle boards

oo I'll have to write a letter to Santa I think. I want a wii!
