There are some common "established" threads in the Gravitude Bar that are used for different purposes. This article will give you some good insight into what each thread in each forum is used for, that way you can have a better idea of what each popular thread is used for.

Playground threads
The Playground is where all "game" threads and casual threads go - threads that don't actually discuss a topic, but are rather used for simple game threads. "Naming Stuff" threads, "Rating Stuff" threads and general conversation threads that discuss no formal topic all belong in the Playground.

This thread is a good example of a simple "Stating Stuff" type thread.

This thread is the Picture Thread - a good example of a social thread that doesn't have any particular topic. Keep in mind that in the Picture thread, it is against the rules to make fun of other people's pictures.

Lodge Topics
The Lodge is used for serious discussion. Moderation is stricter in the Lodge, meaning that random comments and off-topic discussion is squashed a lot faster than it is in topics in the Playground. So if you have a topic that you would like to stay on topic, regardless of what it is about, then put it in the Lodge.

This is a common "controversial" thread. The Lodge is the best place for these kind of topics, because they demand more strick moderating then regular topics because they are about a serious issue and contain serious discussion. Put topics like this in the Lodge and the moderators will make sure that the conversation stays on-topic more diligently than a thread in the Playground would.

This is a good example of a non-controversial thread that the creator put in the Lodge to keep the conversation on topic. It is a pretty light thread as far as subject matter goes, but putting a topic in the Lodge gives it extra protection against "spamming" and useless posts by disrespectful users.

SSX General Forum
The SSX General Discussion Forum has threads that deal with two types of topics. The first is "general" SSX threads that don't deal with a specific game. If the topic deals with SSX in general but does not deal with a particular game, put it the SSX General Discussion forum.

The second type of topic that the SSX General Discussion forum deals with is "bulletin board issues" topics. This includes topics such as the
