I finally gave Mass Effect a try. Got Mass Effect 2 from a Humble Bundle sale and never got around playing it cause I thought it would never run on my PC (actually runs at 60+ fps holy shit). @Gondee Why didn't you tell me it was that good?? I mean you told us, but did you TELL US?
I'm not even halfway through. Still recruiting people and aliens. One more awesome than the other. I'm stuck exploring every damn planet. That's my stuff. Just reading what the planets are about and when I hit an anomaly and can land on it, oh my heart. This world is so BIG! I blame the Mass Effect 2 Demo that I played on Xbox 360. It didn't give the game any justice. I thought it was a very very linear cover shooter. Also the controls on console suck so hard. This game is meant to be played on PC. SO MUCH FUN! I feel like a Slow poke meme in the making.
I live for moments like this:

showActually took more screenshots but Steam overlay didn't work and then I tried FRAPS and it only saved 5 out of the 20+ I took. -.- Why is there no screenshot feature??
I made sure to download all the (free) DLC first. The beginning was a bit tough because you get so much information and unread messages thrown at you and you have to find out who is who if you haven't played ME1 first. I love the characters so much I forget their names. The newest addition to my team is Samaras and Thane. And I like how it doesn't force you to follow the main quest or pushes you towards it. Instead you do whatever you want and eventually you end up on the right path anyway. I've been playing since Thursday straight and I still feel like I'm not even halfway there. Hell I haven't even unlocked the Omega relay yet and more solar systems keep popping up on the Mass relay map. I spent like 50k on a medbay so that I can get plastic surgery. 10/10 would raid planets for facelift again. But 7000 credits for a space hamster is a stretch. wth. Had to add some mods so that I can walk around in casual clothes on the ship. They look great.
Ok ok I will stop now. But, I gotta say this to anyone who has never played Mass Effect: Imagine Destiny without the online MP, but with an amazing plot, open world and way way more planets to explore. Yeah...
@Gondee Is Mass Effect 3 just as good? I don't even care I'm 100% sure I will get it after I finish this one.
