I can't for the life of me get a gold medal on this track. 
I know the game has rubber band A.I. on the final heat but the A.I. is so aggressive only on this track (every other track they're fine to deal with as long as you get ahead of them early on), they'll shove you over if you even look at them. Any tips on getting a gold here?

I can´t help much, but I was shocked by how hard it was to obtain gold medals in races compared to Tricky and SSX3 when I first got into this game. I can, in some sense, feel your pain..
