Which is your favorite? I generally like all 3 but survive is becoming a new extreme favorite of mine. Coming from the old school of just tricking and racing its a nice new dynamic to the ssx world in my opinion

I'd say I'm pretty well-balanced between the modes. Race is exhilarating, Trick is intense, and Survive is a nice way to chill out.

I love Geotag It, too! But really only when I'm leveling up characters.

lol i couldn't agree more. Survive can be really intense too though....if you lose your stamina. I have to say i lost interest in tricky when i first started playing the game "#&*$#$ off the mountain, AGAIN....i hate my life" But after i got used to the tracks and whatnot and classic mode got its changes made, i started really liking tricky. Still no where near 100mil though. Racing is really cool although i do miss the SSX tinted panes to break through

For met it's for sure racing. I am a perfectionist. And this plus small erros and the long times of Trick runs don't go well together

I like Race but Survive is becoming my new freeride mode for chilling out without the pressure of feeling you have to score a medal or set a time.

The Death zone is also very good as I like the mix of mulitple threats as you progress....more like this please.

Trick It is king, I don't mind racing but really hate Survive it it really doesn't go well with the SSX feel.

Definitely Trick It. Race isn't exactly my favorite (because I stink at it) and Survive is just a nice way to chill out at first.

I like them all but probably do more trick events than anything. Don't know why though, I restart a lot because of crashing part way down and that's pretty frustrating.

Where is the option for "Restart It" ?

Like many others I am LOVING Survive It, especially on Death Zone.
A lot of people were complaining that the runs in 2012 aren't long enough, but just try competing against the Scoreboard distances. You'll be there for half an hour (at least).
Other than that, I love racing, especially if they meet my requirements of A: being a survival run, and B: not being Burnout.

It depends on the course. The gameplay in Race and Trick is essentially equal for me, and the best drops for each mode are also equal. Unfortunately, I think there are more great Race drops than Trick drops, i.e. I rarely find myself asking why they put a Race drop on a course, but I get that feeling frequently with Trick drops.

Survive It is cool too, unless it's a Low Oxygen course

I agree, I could easily sit at 30 minutes with some survival coarses. Its a shame the high roller courses are all tricky and races at the moment. What happened to the MONSTER lol?


Lol i know, i should have put that as an option. I still find myself restarting more early on Tricky with courses that should have never been Tricky. There are still courses i still wont even attempt because i dont have fun tricking or racing them. However i love surviving all of the ones they have to offer.

Trick it is my favorite. Normally I'm more in to Race it but the physics of this game makes me like them less.

I'm good at survive it, that's exactly why I don't like it. It just takes way too much time.

Probably Trick It, but I'm getting really sick of the competitiveness. I just want to trick for fun and beat some AI casually without having to restart for every little mistake or every time you realize you're 1 mil points short at a certain part of the track. Same with races and maybe even survival too.

It'd be pretty neat going down a track with a bunch of AI until the AI kill themselves. Kind of like a "Last Man Standing" sort of deal.
