Can't really see the white on platinum in the shot but I managed 31.5k before I made my last mistake. Of course that was with about 5-6 minutes left on the event clock so I'm not sure if I would have even had enough time to break Th3 Apache Dog's score before the event ended anyway. :lol

I don't know, maybe it's the issues I've been having with RiderNet and more people actually did participate that I couldn't see. Maybe people hate reverse cam avalanche events. Or maybe a lot of other people are having issues with seeing custom GEs now. But if that was the actual participation level for this event on XBox and not just my RiderNet being screwy perhaps we should look into changing something about the 3 hour event? :shrug

There were only 3-4 people on the PS3 event as well. We're also averaging about 25 on the 7-day events which I would like to see rise if we can find a way to promote them somehow.

After I did an early 6600 run your score was only showing at a little over 7000 which I thought I could probably do. Then after another run or 2 you posted that 9300. :cry I'm not a huge fan of reverse cam avalanche tracks myself but kept at it for a little while longer and hit the 8737. I tried a few more times after that but the rest of my runs were terrible.

As long as we stick with Survival or maybe Trick events I should be able to give you a bit of a challenge at least. But if they ever throw up a 3 hour race event I might as well just pay my entry fee directly to you. :lol

XBox weeklys are at around 25-30. Considering people have an entire week to post a ~3 minute run that is pretty low. It's possible more people are having issues seeing the events like Bildi but he's the only one that's said anything so far. :shrug

The short events always end about 3 hours before I can get online on Saturdays. I've tried to participate in the weekly ones, but I often can't see them. (I'm on Xbox.)

If we could have the scoreboards and do seasons it'd call alot of the veterans and competitive people :( But I don't think this has been fixed yet...

The survive it events are too short and/or being run at the worst possible time...the middle of a saturday. It's an event I'll never be able to participate in.

Perhaps it's worth bumping the weekend event up to 1 day? Then it would cover Saturday and Sunday. Should be far more accessible then.

I think this is a great idea. 3 hours is already long enough that people's best runs aren't going to be seriously limited by the number of re-tries possible within the time limit. I think very short (1/2 hour or less) events would be really fun as sort of a counterpoint to the week-long challenges, but I don't think it's possible to do 'official' events that are so short. Events like that probably only really work as impromptu challenges among groups of friends that happen to be online together.

I guess we can then set up a 1-day event starting at the same hour as it does now. That'll cover a good part of the weekend. :)

We'll make these changes starting the next weekend.

Thanks for switching to 1-day. I was so excited to be able to participate that I dropped half of my friends just so I could actually see the event. Now that I'm down to 55 friends, about 50 of whom are actively playing SSX, GEs seem to be finally working for me. :)

^ Sorry, I try to do this every week but I was never able to see last weekend's event so I wasn't even able to participate. I was able to see both weekly events when they went up but can't anymore. I posted a few runs when I could see them as I suspected this would happen again.

I know some people have had some success in fixing Global Event related problems by trimming their friends list. I'd rather not but I may go ahead with this if there isn't any word of an actual fix for these problems some time soon.

I should also note that, same as last weekend, I will probably not be able to get final results for both of the weekly events ending this weekend as well unless I "fix" the problem first (and it actually works).

I've seen a Google doc that Don posted in weekly Trick it thread I would be willing to setup rolling points system from week to week so we can track everyone's progress but no one seems interested or at least no one has put up there scores/times. Whats people's opinion on it??
