This is the thread where you can discuss each weekend short event. The event is up on PS3 and Xbox, and this is the drop + the settings:

3-hour Survival Event: Siberia - Kara-Oiuk - Critical Mass (Wingsuit Allowed, Rewinds Enabled)

Drop cost: 150,000 (14,000 on Xbox)
Hide Standings: No
See Ghost Leader: Yes
Payout: Standard Bracket
Event Open To: Friends Only
Max Gear Level: Any

Midian and FishEye are helping me out, and if you have any questions, drop them on this thread and they can answer you.

I don't think I'm missing anything, but let me know if I am!

As we've had a little issue with the 360 gamertag, this week the event drop cost is 14,000 only.

Arguably the easiest Survive It track in the game + no restrictions on rewinds or gear = really long distance scores
Wonder what the diamond will end up being.

Would this be possible to set up as 24 hours in the future? I work weekends and won't ever be able to make the short ones D:

I currently have diamond on ps3, with 51k. ~15 mins left in the event.

Congrats to FuryXII for winning the first weekend event on PS3!

And now the downside... if Fury hadn't been here to confirm he'd won, we'd have no way of telling whether or not someone managed to slip in front at the last minute. There appears to be absolutely no results screen to speak of either on the game or the RiderNet iOS app. Hopefully this will get patched in, otherwise it'll be tough, if not impossible to keep track of winners every single week.

Hopefully that can count for some validation if there is a leaderboard or something.

It would just be to check the "While you were away" message that pops up, if the person isn't still playing. Since the people in it are all on merqurycity, they could just post. But yeah, a better solution getting patched in would be great.

No final results screen is really unfortunate. I took this pic of the XBox brackets about 15 minutes before the end of the event -


(intentionally ran the community account @ silver and my own account @ bronze into the first crevass at different times so that I could see the results)

I was going to nab a shot of the standings closer to the event's completion but just missed out. I'll leave it up to baka to decide what to do in the event of a disconnection from the server. Was anyone else able to post a better run before the event ended?
