I find simultaneous multiplayer option, will be a fault with most sites.
I really don't find the option, all that important.

I always thought of SSX like a single player game, competing
against myself, well trying to reach a certain goal.

Well, the review is quit bland and shallow (as usual with this site) but really positive. The only real disappointment they had were the graphics, saying that the environments were all too similar... strange.

I watched their video review, and I'm surprised it didn't score higher.

And I don't know why they've made such a big deal out of the option to buy credits.

Can someone clarify why people are bashing the credit system? It seems perfectly fine to me...

Seems like a catch 22 situation to me. People constantly ask for more and more rewards and unlockable content in their games... but when you've got a ton of it as SSX does, they complain it takes too long to acquire. Simple solution? Let them bypass the laziness and buy their success, while supporting the future of the game at the same time. Uh oh, now the developers have turned into evil money-grabbing "corporations"! We have to stand up to The Man!

I find these reviewers are bitching about the most useless
things, if Traditional multiplayer and credit system is
what bothers them, then i would rather they not play.

It's just like COD players hating on BF3, because
it's too hard, suck it up and learn the game.

I'm sure this is an EA thing, look what they've done with Mass Effect 3,
i haven't seen 1 game going to be milked before its release.

Capcom games are getting up there, with all the Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom.

To be fair, although I expect the multiplayer talk to die down once people actually realise what it is (a lot of ignorance at the moment - 'it's all just ghosts!' etc.), I think that there is a legitimate grievance there that should be taken into account when considering the next game (fingers crossed that this game does well enough to warrant a next game).

But is it something that warrants the overreaction it's got? Nope.

So there's "too much" customization? What ever happened to extended play, playing the crap out of a game? Getting everything over a large period of time? getting the best stuff last? People don't wanna deal with that. Apparently that doesn't exist in today's society. Pity.

I'll call a bad game a bad game when I've been waiting years for it, preordered it, and scour news sites for any new info daily. That being said, I don't understand how this game can't be 8/10 or higher. I understand if you're terrible at racing games, it might not be fun for you. I'm terrible at fighting games. I wouldn't score mvc3 a 5.0 because of it though.

The quality of this game is stellar, IMO. Even the things that I thought I'd enjoy(flight suits, oxygen) that I actually hate after using them(hate enough that I'll never play those drops again, mind you), the total package is incredible. It's hard to live up to ssx 3, and even harder ssx tricky, and I think this game does by miles and surpasses both. I want all my competitive games to have ridernet equivalents now. I want to know when a friend beats my kill streaks on a map. I want to see ghosts of racecars.

I don't put any weight in reviews in general, personally, but a 5.2?! Give me a break. The credit buying thing is funny to me because I've spent over 200k today alone and have 350k left. On the first day. Something tells me credits aren't going to be an issue in this game except for the uber-impatient.

And those who can barely get to Super Tricky, like Edge.
