Nice ones, Ice. Have you tested any of them to see if they can be useful?
The other KD wh I know of is at the last checkpoint, on the ramp with an x5. Jump right, up the blue hill. It's very easy to find. That wh can leave you in front of the finish line, but I don't know if it's faster.
I haven't tested the ones at KD because it's real hard to stay in them. The ones in black station are useless.
http://useruploads.mythica.org/view/icex_whs.wmv.html These don't seem to gain maybe a second or two at most. The wh you were talking about may be useful, it's just you slow down a lot when trying to make it there and you have to stay in the wh rather long. But I have another idea.
You are good at finding whs when you want to. I knew about the 2nd wh in your vid from a long time back, but I had forgotten it. So that makes it 6 whs on KD. The only course without any known wh is R&B.
I played some APR today and hit a 3:32. That shortcut is much harder than it looks, indeed.
It's because of all the searching in Blur! But I do believe I may know of a wh in R&B too When are you going to show the full wh vid? I'm giving you a lot of new ones! Unbelievable how such a great game can be so screwed up in design.
Very nice APR time. It does become very annoying going through Throne and what not just to mess up that shortcut. If you jump just at the end of the height of the tiny jump while leaning back on your board, you should make it over a lot of the time.
Have been practicing in Freeride and I worked out from Ice's video to lean back and I also do a grab to make sure. I still seem to bounce left off the rock.
I have yet to do the full run, still practicing your crash jump. The KD Wh isn't too hard.
I wonder if it pays to get supered for the KD connector, then you could use the rock rails. If you could carry it to the KD Wh, then it shouldn't be too hard to get it back before the select trick you do towards the end of KD.
My best run so far: at 23:00 I reached the start track point (where the game froze ), meaning it took me exactly 2 min to get there, whereas IceX nedded about 2:06 to get there.
Muahahaha!!! xD
EDIT: Pwnt, 3:27!
k, new game-freeze record, 23:03!!!
Also new personal checkpoint record -1:30
BTW: metro city 1:34

Wow, 23:03 at the load-track point?? You're a full 6 seconds faster than my best. You must be doing something very special between the checkpoint and the shortcut glitch.
See what Ice did at 1:18? Thats probably faster, but he messed up at the key to success.
I see we exit the wh at the same time, but I used to have SUPE UBER spelled to get red boost through the connection part (I also exit the wh with full boost)
That triple rail in the connection part before KD is interesting (where you landed on on 23:03), maybe I can cut off a second more

I'm a little confused on few things... So MJ, you get Super-Uber at the rail of 1:18 in my video? I don't have any idea how you manage that but i'll see. I usually have about 5-6 ubers at most by there. Even with super-uber I don't see the 4-6 sec improvement. You also said that -1:30 was your record at the checkpoint. In my 3:30 vid, I hit it at -1:34, which is faster.. or is it the lower the negative the faster?
Your all-peak time started at 27:17, cause you didn't finish the all-peak race yet (for whatever reason) Mine and RE's start at 25:00
Really, do you think I'm 2 minutes slower than you, and then I hit a 3:27?
And I don't get SUPER UBER on that rail, Where you did the morgan grinder I do a morgan grinder => SUPER UBER
I guess you should try new lines there a bit, it's not a major difference, but equals 6 secs if done right.
I don't mean for you to get defensive, I wasn't trying to attack you in any way I was just confused by your posts. I understand the difference between starting time. I just didn't realize it had an effect on the checkpoint time. I understand how you hit the SUPER UBER before the rail now.

You were doing the silver time. I couldn't believe it at first and then I noticed your start time and translated it to -1:30 checkpoint. What I don't understand is why your earlier 3:48 run was for the gold time.
Like MJ I prefer to get supered just before the checkpoint. I also have a different approach to the 1st checkpoint, which is "random" as MJ would say but gains around 4 secs.
Here is a sample that I posted a way back http://useruploads.mythica.org/view/Crispy_AP_1st_checkpoint.wmv.html It gives you 70 kph vs 45 kph thru the slow section.
When MJ said he made the -1:30 at that checkpoint I figured he grinded them rails. I just always tend to mess up that area very often. Looks like doing that rail uber might help to catch the last rail.
Unfortunately I have to say you're totally right, for a sub- 3:30 run it's absolutely nessesary to hit these rails, even though they're a bitch to hit right.

You have to hit the wh right, the connection part including the 3 rails, the jump over to KD, the load track point, then the KD wh, and everything right to the finish line, of course without crashes.
My 3:27 had one crash, but that's not my best time...
