Oh i know MT..im not hatin, that is an incredible race time on MTG B2B. :) You must of atleast hit a 1:26 on the halfbanked section which is damn good.

So far all i need is HL double which RE is making it very hard for me on that one :cheers I seem to be taking steps backwards there.

^ You must mean 5:36...

Platinum without selects... I'd like to see that.

He said it's impossible to get a platinum on that without select tricks...

I think he meant he actually used select tricks this time around.

Ok got home and played some higher learning i hit a 1:07.35 on a run that seemed kinda shitty. And tried it again on a run that seemed flawless and hit a 1:07.65 :frusty There must be a little thing i'm missing and i'm pretty sure it's concerning the last select.

I assumed he didn't use select tricks, since he never does. But you're right, 5:26 with selects makes more sense than 5:36 without selects. Very nice, NOB.

Roadkil Remix SS - 6,825,310

This is with a sorta weak Hot Dam and room for improvement on Last Call. But, basically 7 mil if I try hard enough.

I'm looking at you, eviltim. ;P

God, On Tour is so FRUSTRATING. I don't think I enjoy a single part of freestyle. I can cope with it, but it's so damn hard to want to play when everything in the game makes you crash! Monster Moments make the ground impossible to see, not to mention darkening the screen on night tracks. Trick stick is iffy at best (it's completely stopped registering Up to Left on my controller now.)

I swear, whoever made this game didn't give one rat's ass to showoff.

Anyway, I'm working on a SOAB showoff vid, but my best is only 1.2 mil now, not even close to 2nd place on the scoreboard. I'll get it in gear after I rest my hands (after playing for four fruitless hours tonight) and hopefully have something by Wednesday.

I've had something like that too. You need to buy a new controller. That will fix the problem.

Never had any problems with any other games really. My point was more that it shouldn't have to be guesswork on whether or not you're going to pull off the Monster Trick you want to do. The old system never had that problem. Buttons are exact - analog sticks aren't.

IceXtreme wrote:

Man, it's just so opposite the way I want On Tour to be. :heh I wanna play it because I wanna make movies of freestyle. There's only two! But I can't score high enough to make any decent movies cuz 1) I suck and 2) the game makes it hard to get a perfect track because all the gameplay mechanics make you crash.

All I need is one good game though. I have figured I'll play like an hour a night, that way I won't get so damn frustrated. Anyway Ice, figured you would feel better knowing someone else is playing again. :heh

oh a lot of people probably feel the same way you do G about the freestyle which has made them shy away from it.They completely made it an analog stick twirling contest that i don't want to be in :heh but i may because of complete boredom. I wish the would of kept the freestyling like ssx3 since the made the racing fairly similar. I want to start making some vids for freestyling but just never get around to it :heh

No no no. I said that I've had the same problem and that I had some adivice for him. You see, analog sticks after constant play will start to grind against the sides of the analog holes, leaving awful marks. In fact, when I had the problem, I had it with almost every trick - the only Level 2 that would work was PT. So I got the new controller and now I have no problems, only now I tend to lean more towards racing.

:heh Yeah, I know that sucks. It used to take me like 8 hours to upload 3 Master Runs back when I had dial up. For what it's worth, yousendit.com has a little app that will let you resume downloads, don't know about uploads.

If you have a few runs you wanna get published PM me and I'll send you my address and you can send me a CD. :) I can even take videotapes now that I have my new capture card. :woot

royank, dude, you have the patience to do 4 ubers per jump on Compilation over and over, yet you can't wait a few minutes for a video to upload? Assuming you have 56k, it would take you less than an hour to upload an average-sized video.

Oh no, it's always much, much slower than that, at least in practice. Modem always downloads much faster than it uploads. When I had to upload 10 MB vids for the Master Runs, it would take like several hours at least. Typically when I did it I would get max 3K a second uploads. Even when you get good connections my download speeds never got faster than 5K a second.

You probably already knew this crap though - here's an article for the other uninformed. :heh Page is pretty old though. :heh Maybe it's faster now, but i've never seen a 56K connection that downloads faster than 7K a second on a consistent basis.

If it averages 3 KB/s, then it would take about an hour to upload a 10 MB file. That's nothing... And even if it did take 5 hours... so what? It's still not much.

If the connection was stable, no problem, but modem is notorious for booting you off at anytime, especially if you're in another house with other people demanding to use the phone. Getting several hours of uninterrupted phone time is pretty difficult in some households. :heh
