:heh sorry about that i musta posted it the same time you posted yours.

That can be really beneficial to huge scores...get on a humped rail, get some speed and do a spreader and land on rail, then press select. I see something like this happening.

I know, that was a second reason I didn't tell anyone. Because I can see some places becoming a point of who can work on one rail the fastest.
Although, it is possible that is will just be an added challenge and it will only help competition :).

It will help with competition..its not exactly a gamebreaking glitch like the ones in ssx3.

I will be transferring over to freestyle really soon to try to help with some huge scores :yes

Pretty tight run. 1:06 will be a bitch.

really nice time! I'll work on it some tommorow I have a few ideas..what time did you press select at on the last select?

Not sure, but it could have been sooner. Everything went pretty well on the run and I didn't want to screw up the last select. It was right at 1:01 I think, but I selected deep into the ditch where you don't clip the lip, if you know what I mean. Possibly waiting the extra time to select could have helped me by missing the lip when coming out. My checkpoint is at the 54 sec mark by the 2nd metal arch thing. I hit that right, I'm not even looking at the clock beyond that.

i usually look at one checkpoint which is the time i hit the rail before the last select.

yeah i know what you mean if you wait a little longer you select out a little bit further..below the higher ground. But then again you lose time trying to get the better select :poke

The best i've ever hit the rail at was a really high 1:55 to low 1:56 and fucked up the select. every single run i come off the rail either too early or too late and either lose too much time or run into a tree. really :frusty

Why are you guys all saying its a glitch??? How do you know EA didn't program it into this game?

So landing on a rail doubles your score? Wow, I thought it only worked with rail ubers. I had been doing that on Mind The Gap, holding a rail uber for the whole course. This is not a glitch at all. I think it will make freestyle more fun for now, but I see some "infinite rail-landing" exploits in the near future. Oh well, I'll stick to racing for the moment.

Half-banked 1:23.00 could of done better but spun around at the very end and lost speed.

Nice time. It's one of the simplest courses, but hard to get just right.

The infinate rail trick is where you use one rail over and over to keep landing on it to get more points.

Why did you only use one select?

Except that staying on a flat rail and tricking over and over again isn't going to be worth nearly anything compared to actually going down the run and getting points...

Um...I don't know if this is a good time or not, but I have 3:12.05 on the race where you have to go from White Knuckles to Higher Learning. Individual.

EDIT: Make that 3:02.xx. With no selects. :)
