Were Hiro and Mac friends or foes in SSX?

I don't own a PS2 so I could never play SSX.

I think they were natural but that's a good question

There isn't "friends&foes" in SSX 1.

Yeah, there were no Friends/Enemies thing in SSX as there was in Tricky. Pretty much, every single character would shove you when you got close to them, regardless of who it is or who your are.

So if you need like a Tricky Friend/Enemy representation, that I would say the two are Nuetral. Can't say either white nuetral or orange nuetral, but probably borderline.

I'd imaging orange nuetral, Mac tends to pic a fight with every other freestyle boarder.

Also thanks, I was trying to figure out how to write up some of my fan fiction and I didn't know how to pharese Mac and Hiro. And I thought i'd get a better answer on the board where people know SSX history.

P.S: The only reason i'm using someone in a story i've never played before is because Hiro is now incharge of the Toyko Megaplex

You know what's got me puzzled? How Mac and Kaori are friends in Tricky, but Karoi's aggressivness is 1 point past "Friend" so she's white Neutral.

EA kind of wanted to keep things fair, so they had each character, by default, be a Friend to one character and an Enemy to another character. As you can tell, initially, each character will only have a friend status with one character and an enemy status with another. (although, that does not mean that each character would get one friend and one enemy; i think each character gets one enemy, but Zoe and Eddie have two friends while Mac and Psymon have none).

So that's kind of the technical explanation for that. They didn't want to have one character have friend status with multiple people..

They should have had Mac and Kaori as Friends..

Yeah, but it was unfair how Mac had no friends in-game. Maybe that was a screw-up? 'cause it's exactly 1 point above friend.

Kaori and Mac are friends. And Kaori was a friend with Hiro I think, when they both are from Japan. And Hiro himself was a friend with Jurgen, and Jurgen is from Germany. And Marty live in Germany, and Marty is Mac's cousin, so they are like a big family!

They were friends.
