Why in the world would Obama decide to make a ban on oil drilling?

Without oil...some of us would be jobless...

I don't see why you should doubt Obama given that he has fulfilled every campaign promise he made.

Now I'm not saying that you are right or wrong. But the advent of people losing jobs doesn't really mean that it's a bad thing for Obama to stop off-shore drilling. I mean, what if child prostitution wasn't illegal, and Barack Obama made it illegal, would you also protect child prositution because of the jobs that would be lost?
Maybe there's a good enough reason for us to stop drilling for oil, much more important than the loss of some jobs.

I think he came in as president at a bad time, (okay really bad) but he's doing pretty good so far ,I like him more then Bush, that's for sure.
