Ok, if some ppl noticed, i've been pissed off at my laptop for about a week now cause i can't access the internet. The only time i could check my e-mails is at school and it takes like 10 mins just to get on... anyways; the only thing i can access is my msn Messenger (so i know everything was OK with my Ethernet cord). But I couldn't open my internet "window" until today... Yet I still have an other problem, hope you guys can help me :heh

The only way I can have the Internet is that I right click on the Internet icon and go to Explore without add-ons. But then I can't view anything cause i need to download things that i can't save. I've done so many scans on my laptop and I can't find anything. I use "Spybot Search and Destroy" but it freezes up at something like "WWWCoolSearch" (or something like that). I'm really not that good in computers, so I hope someone can help me. :cry

Format man...

Really... your current setup sounds like it's beyond saving... I format like, once every 6 months... usually on necessity.

Yeah, maybe you should clean your hard drive for good.

Whenever I feel like it I format the drive, usually on a 6-month cycle as well.

If SpyBot SD locks up then you have a big problem. Like Doyle and Baka suggest, I would save data and then re-install Windows from scratch, using your recovery disks and formatting your C: drive.

Yeah it might be too late to do a system restore, I don't think defragmenting your hard drive will do anything either.You should probably go see a professional and buy a new antivirus program. That's what my parents had to do, the repair guy even gave us free memory because our computer was so slow.
