Got to Level 6 and my score was 90.. Played a few times as it was enjoyable to find out how much I know about Europe and (obviously) the US, parts of Africa, a bit of Asia, but not much about the finer points of the Middle East (exact locations).

Good find :)

1st go - L10, 397,337, IQ 114

Found the map too small to even see places like Cape Verde.

Would have liked a breakdown on Continents

Wooo, I'm better than RE Virus!

Only did this once, first try: I got to level 11, didn't qualify for level 12. I got 51994 on World Cities Expert.

Final score: 511,503
Final level: 11
Traveler IQ: 126

http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/European_Geography.htm

That site's good too. Try doing Countries on level 3 on any continent.

Click "dial-up version" though, if you choose the other, when you click play the window closes. :heh

Hey RE what happened on your first go only getting to L5?

I dunno, I guess I'm just that bad. :heh

Northern Europeans (Scandinavia, Iceland, and possibly the Baltic states) have the best educational system, particularly when it comes to the outside world. They learn (not just "go through") geography and English in school, as do many Asians. In northern Europe movies and TV shows are subtitled, rather than dubbed like they are in the rest of Europe, making it easier to learn English.

Thus, northern Europeans and Asians are expected to do best at this game.
