My middle school used to have 11 periods, including lunch the classes were like 40 minutes each.

I have to wait to see what college stuff I can do. I'll probably have to start in the spring because of several circumstances/issues...

the rest where forced upon me, by the school, if wasnt forced to take spansih because i was in the top set i could have easily got an A* at PE rather than a crappy C wich im expected at spanish.

And i took the boring geog and history because i felt they would be more useful than the other cruddy subjects available.

Geography rocks at GCSE, Best fucking subject I did..... ok maybe not art and german but whatever.

PE Sucks.

Why the hell are so many of you taking Geography classes ? At my school or any school around here pretty much, Geography classes don`t even exist. I wish they did, but I`ll be taking pretty much ONLY Georgraphy classes in college, seeing as I`ll be studying travel/tourism as my major. I really want to be a cartographer (map maker) but since it`s a dead business/trade, travel agent is more realistic !!

geography never existed in any of my years in school, it was taught for a half an hour each week in grade school and then that was it.

Humanities:
Pure Geography (yellow armpits teacher.. but other than that nice)
-two papers
--multiple choice and map reading
--sturctured essay paper.. long answers.. and we must draw lots of diagrams too

Combined Humans (history and social studies)(can you say dead hands)
-two papers.. one for history(LOVE IT).. one for ss(BORING)
--source based.. give a bunch of info labeled a,b,c,d,e and we must write like nearly one page answers
--structured essay.. 2 parts to the question.. nearly two pages for an answer per part .. you feel really tired after it.. and you can hardly move your fingers!!

so ive got seven subjects.. one and a half hours per class.. five days a week.. and two weeks of exams everytime.. except the ones i just finished.. those took a month..

and school is from seven thirty am to two pm

BUT IVE GOT ONE WEEK OFF NOW COS THE TEACHERS ARE MARKING.. YAY!!

America has one of the worst geography programs in the world, because of our "who cares about you, we're america" attitude. It's rather sad, students of other countrys are scores ahead of us in geography.

Because the teacher I have is a fucking kickass one. Lesuire and tourism had a crap teacher. So it was gerography, and when Is ay it was the best fucking class ever I mean it lol. Seriously we learnt EVERYTHING, From AIDs to world trade from the union carbide to Natural disasters. We went so deep into it, it was made so fucking interesting.
