I'm just learning Sense at the moment which is an adult version of Scratch for the Open University. I think it's pretty shitty and am informed by my other half who is a computer programmer and has been for ten years that no one would ever programme anything in that way. Given that I feel that I've learnt sweet FA programming, I am inclined to agree so far.

Also Scratch can make dancing T-Rex's.

I have yet to make a T-Rex that moonwalks. This adult version sucks.

I'm good with CSS, HTML and rudimentary javascript. But anything more complicated and I have to hire out to create mods for the board. I had a really good modder in the past who didn't charge too much, but he's disappeared and I have yet to find someone who doesn't charge a lot of money to customize our bulletin board. It's not a huge issue as long as I can work around our errors, but at some point I will have to make some headway into finding someone else.

Block programming seems... Weird... :??? I don't understand what would be the major advantage (programming wise) for using that kind of system. Looks fun though.
