Who the heck is DJ Atomica?

One question that's been plaguing me for a while is who the heck is DJ Atomika?

I know he's a fictional charecter, but who did the voice? Is he a real DJ or Actor? Can I find something else he's done?

I don't think we've ever found out. It could be someone in the credits, if we wanted to use process of elimination. That's no guarantee, though. :shrug

I'd guess he's just some guy they made up. And his voice is probly just as publicised as like... the voice of Tyson or something.

I don't remeber where but somewhere on the board someone asked the same question and I did some research and this is the best I could come up with.....

DJ Atomika from SSX 3 and DJ Stryker from Burnout 3 sound like the exact same person. In Burnout 3 there is even a comment by Styrker dissing Atomika in one segment.
DJ Stryker is an actual Radio Dj for KROQ in LA. It's never been proven that there is a connection between stryker and atomika anywhere I've seen online except through skeptics like me. If EA would just finnally answer this question which is mysterious but in reality just kinda stupid it would be alot easier to answer.

Yeah, that's some good detective work there Ryno. That does seem right that the guy in Burnout would be the same, especially if they had him make fun of the guy from SSX 3. :china

I've been listening to Stryker over the web this morning, and I don't think he's Atomika. Though they do sound quite simmilar.

In the Tricky Section we have the Marty Story, so what about 'the Atomika Story', *'Who the heck is Atomika?' or something like that?

If you play Burnout 3 (ps2) long enough the DJ starts talking about 'ssx3' then jokingly corrects himself that its the wrong game (I think its one in the same bloke), but you got to be quick to hear it.

But has something happened to him???? in 'On Tour' at the beginning of a race the new announcer say something like "this goes out to dj atomica, we miss you buddy"

My version of the original ssx hasnt worked for years. But I always thought DJ Atomika sounded like the original DJ/announcr just with less attitude.
Im sure its the same voice though.

Hah, this is one that's been plagueing me for ages. I only found out today that ATOMICA IS IN F***ING SSX BLUR!!!!! I NEED A WII STAT!!!!

I think DJ Atomica's voiced by David or Dave (Can't remember the last name, sorry -- but it's Dave/David for sure)

I think in SSX 5 or whatever the next SSX will be, Atomika should be an actual playable character. I mean he does snowboard right? And while he's out riding, Mac can take his place at the Radio BIG Station [mac]
