SSX 3 online

Every time i go on SSX 3 online (ps2). No ones ever on so i'm just wondering if anyone plays it online?

I thought the servers had been shut down...well, to answer your question, it's been dead for around 9 months now.

But since you're in the uk I can play you whenever you want. It can be right now, just say something.

I think the servers are still up, atleast they were when i went on a few months ago.

Well, they aren't anymore. I can never log in to my account, so oh well, r.i.p. SSX3 online.

the deal that sucked about s3 is that there was no lan mode.

If SSX3 had been brought onto PC I think the online mode would have truly taken off then. Not enough people have online access on home consoles.

Online is definetly a major factor in the next-gen consoles, so I'd say the next SSX (excluding wii) will be online.

Also, it'd be hard to play SSX on a computer, especially if you don't have a proper controller. It just doesn't belong in the PC world.

i look at ssx3 online as research for both sony and ea...ea because it seems that starting around that time every sports game had online support, and sony because they never really got it together enough to have an online service for the ps2.

Despite all the things that could have made it better, it was still alot of fun. I especially enjoyed the day when the developers were online, I had two really interesting conversations that day....its rare to actually get a chance to talk to the developers one on one, so thats a pretty cool memory in my book.

It was online but the server was closed down over a year ago. Which is what this post was talking about.
