Wow, I haven't been to this part of the site in awhile 
Great job RE Virus! I remember how hard it was to finally get to 1:56 and that I nearly had a heart attack afterwards! See you're still trying to push this game to its limits, just awesome!

Another clean low-2:01 Metro City. 2:00 is within reach but very, very hard. Also had a kinda low 1:32 Metro when going for a 1:31 and got really aggravated and gave up. Them damn random teleports just piss me off to no end 
Seeing Re's run inspired me to play Snowjam again and I got a 1:55 today on a PERFECT run. It give me chills watching the video because there we're so many areas I kept crashing on that I finally landed.
I'll have video's up soon and i'll probably go back to taking another 2 yr long break from touching a ps2

Isn't it amazing how when you come back after a long time, you hit those scores/times that previously seemed impossible? I swear that my 1:56.5 SJ landed easy. I'm sure Ice would say the same (about 1:56 that is, not the 1:55.9), am I right?

Wow! Great stuff RE and Ice. I agree, seems like many things come more easily after time away, and I remember this to be so true with SSX.

Holt shit! I just moved into a new house so I didn't have internet access until now. That's absolutely incredible RE! Did you achieve this with the shortcut you found (I was never able to make it useful) or with the standard line? Either way, you reached the closest to perfection that this or any game will see.

Heheh, I have to confess... I've had that 1:55(.9) for a while. It's with a new, extremely difficult wormhole.
I didn't want to reveal it because Ice suddenly came out with an incredible, perfect 1:55 with the classic line.
The two runs are hard to compare, but of the two, Ice's 1:55.97 wins hands down. With the new wh I'm seeing a 1:55.3 or so as the best possible time.
As for that shortcut on the far right side at the beginning, I haven't been able to make it work either, as it's just too hard to hit the shortcut perfectly. It's very hard to analyze, but with the shortcut you go from point A to point B in a straighter line (with only slightly increased fall time), so in theory it should be faster than the classic line.

Nothing too special. After the 2nd teleport, try going to the right side of the lamp post, it might be faster. I might go for a 1:32, it seems easy now. I can see a 1:31 on a perfect run, but who has the patience with the 2nd teleport.
