Hello all, Cody here. Some of the "weekenders" may remember me, I was the one who showed them the cheat characters. Anyways, here's a couple of scores for you to top:

Kick Doubt 1.53 millionish. I can probably get it to 1.8 mil if I made the line properly.

Merq city: 1:47 and I messed up once. It can be lower :)

Ok..... I have some screenshots of some pretty high scores on certain courses...

Perpendiculous - 1.05 Million
Kick Doubt - 843,515
Much2Much - 237,920
All Peak Race - 26:58 <---- Could have been better....

I need someone to host them though..

Hello Cody!!

Are you saying you got 1:47 speed run on Metro? Wow! makes the 2:15 I got look pretty weak! But is this run using normal shortcuts on the final version and not an invisible rail to the end of the track (like the one we were told was in Aloha on SSX1)?

Just want to make sure I have a legit chance. Thanks!

Hey Cody, OF COURSE we remember you!!!

Funny, as I finally got "The Cow" last night (and had a lot of fun racing with it!)

Welcome aboard, I'm sure we are all going to try to top those scores of yours very soon!

;)

LOL, even the creators call it Merqury City, heheh. That is a great time - in six months I'm sure that's where FBX will be - remember when we were positive 3 minutes on Merqury City Tricky or Elysium Alps couldn't be broken?

By the way Cody, thanks for coming around! You want an avatar or label? :) Maybe "Skiing Cow Creator" will work? :lol

well, honestly, SSX3 is nothing like the original or Tricky.

its a whole new game with the mindset of the first two blended and then expotentially multiplied by an unknowingly massive number.

:heh

Excellent score, but I'm fairly certain I can top that. I got almost exactly that just messing around. :yes I'll try tonight. I'm also going to give Perpendiculous another shot and try at the upper pipes. :yes

its worthless to do that

too much time wasted and of course, it'll most likely break your combo which is really the most important thing

Just finished my first attempt at the all-peak race. I was pretty clueless for the first 2 peaks, but the last peak made up the slack and I got 24:03. The really good times will approach 19 minutes flat I'm guessing.

BTW Gondee, I realized Cody may have meant 1.47 million on Metro as he was talking about scores. I don't see race runs going that low from what I've seen as my 2:10 run is almost going straight down the track's throat.

Of course I could be wrong, but that's for Cody to let me know about.

:cheers

I think he meant 1:47 race time, FBX. Metro has no way to get a showoff score like that... :??? To be honest, he built the game, played it for six months before we ever got a hold of it, knows the insides and out - don't you think it's possible? Where do you think YOU'LL be in six months' time? You got 2:15 two days after you got the game, don't you think you can improve on that just a little?

I think so. :china

I'm serious - I think we're in the infant stages of setting records (not even, zygote stage, really). I'm sure FBX can find a way of beating Steve's score - and he'll do it too, but we have to remember that although we're SSX veterans, we're relative babies to SSX 3. We stilll have a lot of growing to do.

Of course Gondee, it was just his tone of voice and then yours.. :)

b.t.w.: are you going to ask Cody for those secret rails and things in Tricky, because with SSX 3 out, those might be let out of the bag.

Heheh, don't worry about it, naya82. As soon as the game comes out, it will be a week and you willl be kicking our asses again. ;)

Set 1,128,126 on Perpendiculous. I think if you could get in those upper pipes it would be bonus city - all I know is I'm maxing out the bottom pipe jumps, ubers and combos. I think the real key here is to get up to the top in stride without losing your combo, and take advantage of system tweaks like Monster Ubers and style points. Cause after a little while there's only so much you can do with combos and grabs. :yes

It would have been a lot better, just the top part of peak 3 really messed me up..

Well, I hit 1.05 Milliion on Perpendiculous...

I know there is room for improvement because I left with about 15 seconds... I didn't want to mess it up...

However, on another run I did, I had 650K+45K combo+500K, so I could have easily hit 1.15 Million had I not run out of time! :(
