She was always one of those celebrities that I actually felt bad for... seemed like she was so much more insecure than most people. To the world, in terms of contribution, her life was worthless compared to many others.

Her death was certainly worthless - if for nothing else than she didn't curb her self-destructive tendencies even after she had a little baby.

I think that's largely my reason for calling her worthless. Odds she OD'd in her hotel room...that's worthless.

Well it's true she hasnt a great deal of things but the main reason she was in the headlines was becuase of her popularity. If Nicole Richi died tomorrow, we would all know about it even though she hasnt done very much either.

What's your basis for that? No one ever gets killed before 10pm in florida? Just because she died in the hospital doesn't mean she couldn't have been murdered.

It's more so a sad story in that fact she lost her son a few months ago and likely killed herself due to her financial troubles, court troubles, her son's death, and the paternity suits.

ive already spent too much of my time discussing this issue. i dont want to have a debate on the worthlessness of a dead celebrity...

Wikipedia does not count as a reliable source, ever. Any time someone uses that in a debate with me, I ignore it. It's not credible, a lot of it is just cut and paste jobs with mixed up info or inaccurate info.

On topic, I think the media is overdoing it a bit with the coverage.
