So Yeti PM'd me the other day about a completely random 403 error he was getting when he tried to post some text on the board.
After doing some testing - the word c u r l (without the spaces) was causing the 403 error.
That's super weird, and I don't know why it's causing issues since I can post other words that contain similar letters (like hurl or furl) and be just fine.
Anyway - if you run across any strange 403 errors when you are posting - PM the text you were going to post or post it here and I'll take a look and see if I can see any similarities between what might be causing the issues.
EDIT: SO after doing some online sleuthing, it looks like the word "c u r l" (again, without spaces) is part of URL language that is used by worms to cause problems with websites. The problem is actually caused by over-zealous server-side security (such as mod_security) which blocks PHP executables from being sent via POST requests.
I will talk with my host about this, but I don't know if anything can be done.
Either way - here is a list of words that will cause your post to error out:
c u r l
w g e t
As I find more, I will post them.

God, after looking at this I forgot what a fuckin' mess the old SSX 3 pages were. They are like 15 years old at this point and the HTML created in Adobe GoLive doesn't even work in browsers right any more. I should have replaced them soo long ago but I'm just too lazy at this point.
Anyway, after some sleuthing I fixed it.
