I feel like he's at least 8 years younger than the Link in Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Hyrule Warriors.

Okay, E3 is winding down, as far as news goes. My vote for press conference winner? None of 'em. I suppose MS by a hair. None of them had any games I was looking forward to, minus a very small number. None of the new ones grabbed my attention. My theme for this E3 is "rather disappointing". No real news on Mass Effect or Star Wars. Just a lot of "developer interviews." Crap.

Game of the Conference is Dragon Age 3, followed by MKX.

No new SSX, no new Silent hill. Sigh. Well, I'm not surprised.

I was pretty stoked though after seeing the new trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider. Even though I really dislike the name and gritty themes ala Christopher Nolan, Lara looks pretty badass in it! Perhaps she is finally starting to become more and more like the "old" Lara.

I also liked the visual aspects of Star Wars: Battlefront. I will most definitely buy it, taken there will be a PS3 version...

One of the most welcoming surprises for me was ABZU. The game looks fantastic, like an underwater version of Journey which I enjoyed alot. I hope to see more gameplay from this one.

I've been trying to explain 3D graphics to my mom and showed her the UC4 trailer. Once she figured out what was going on she looked over at me, horrified, and said, "So this means your art is going to be obsolete???" Poor Mom.

Speaking of: Corrinne Yu said the trailer "doesn't look good enough" to be pre-rendered.

Despite EA's presser being a letdown, especially since EA has at least half the games I wanted to see, I still felt very pleased with E3 as a whole and optimistic about the industry. I know that puts me in the minority. But like I said earlier, I know that what I (reasonably ) want is coming and got to add a few games to that list.

Highlights: Sunset Overdrive, Rise of the Tomb Raider, AC Unity, Criterion IP, The Crew, LBP3, No Man's Sky, UC4. Only game I'm coming out of E3 feeling negative about is Sims 4. Read every interview and preview. No one's talking about stairs.

I just caught up on Mirror's Edge. They didn't show too much. But I would love if it was an open world game where you get some freedom to explore and see side quests.

The thing that concerns me is that with the whole "change the foundation/wall height at anytime" thing, I think even making modular stairs with cheats like CFE will be out, which means straight stairs and only straight stairs unless they show us some other meshes or someone mods one in without animations, which takes years. I love the new CAS, but I can't go through that hell. Nope.

Also, the end of the Link saga.

Emu, Frank Gibeau once referred to it as open world. Could totally happen.

GOTS: Everyone knows I'm gonna say UC4 here. I think we all knew that ND was gonna blow our socks off, but it was hard to really picture it. The fact that it's real-time makes it even more impressive.

Best surprise: Toss-up between Rise of the Tomb Raider (content, not that it was coming) and Criterion IP. Extremely excited for both.

So i just came back from E3, was not a big E3 as i thought, but nice new IPs though,

Tested Samourai Warriors on Playstation booth, was a fun game, also tested new car games, but i m not that thrilled, weird to say...

Thought of you City when i went on Nintendo booth and saw KH and Smash Bros games,

and aaaah saw Kojima-sama on IGN booth, omg quite impressive,

anyways was a great E3 for me, might post some pictures soon..
