Being a huge TV shows consumer and living in Europe doesn't help figuring out which ones are the best.

I feel like i miss out something sometimes, so,

maybe a silly question but which shows do you watch? / should i watch? / ..?

I like all kinds of shows. I have been watching Homeland s1 lately and American Horror Story s1/ True Blood s5 this summer. Can't wait for the Grey's season premiere of course.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions :)

Homeland was just brilliant, loved True Blood, watching series 5 of Burn Notice right now. If you liked True Blood, you must watch Grimm, what else, what else.........Oh! if you like cop shows, The Shield - best cop show ever, more to come when i recall them.......

edit 1 ....Hawaii 5-0, (the new one), is ok. Strike Back - Project Dawn, (thats series 1) and Strike Back - Vengence (the current series) is superb.

edit 2 .... Dead Like Me, looks quirky but watchable.

True Blood is amazing, a far cry from the brilliance of the books but still good. Althought the end of this season was somewhat retarded ie; Billith.

I can't abide American crap that's been supposedly taped in front of a live audience. If I need to be told when to laugh, it's not funny. Hence, my favourite American show at the moment is Suits. The comedy is there, the characters are great, it's a fantastic original storyline and it has me hooked.

I'm also hooked (probably shamefully) on Glee. If you haven't watched it yet and just love music and a series dealing with a good amount of modern day issues, it's one to watch. I also quite like Hart of Dixie. It's only one for the girls though I fear but it quite a good series.

New season of Red Dwarf starts soon so I'm extremely excite. If you want a good laugh I'd watch Red Dwarf from season 1, should be able to find that online anywhere. I've never been into Downton Abbey or Doctor Who which seems to be a huge fad in the world at the moment. The BBC haven't really produced anything that has hooked me for a while.

I watch:

NCIS
NCIS LA
Criminal Minds
Burn Notice
Mythbusters
Futurama
Major Crimes
Perception
Simpsons
Rizzoli & Isles
Korra

And maybe some others.

Burn Notice is probably my favorite show with Mythbusters right up there as well.

Can't recommend much, I never watch TV.
Mythbusters, Futurama, the UK Top Gear, Simpsons.
All I have watched for the past year.

I watch a few ones, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones are my favorites.

Breaking Bad was created by Vince Gilligan, the guy who created X-Files, even tough unlike x-files its nothing about paranormal stuff, actually its a very realistic, intense and heavy Tvshow with alot of crime, drugs and money, alot of money. IMO its the best written show out there.
Click to reveal hidden content: show

Game of Thrones is based on the books "A Song of Ice and Fire" from George R. R. Martin. Its a great show, super production, superb written and also a very mature show.

Then I also watch a few others already mentioned here: Grimm is cool, Strike Back is a pure action show.
Fringe, Continuum and Teen Wolf are also nice, specially Teen Wolf that surprised me alot.

Also like a good laugh with Louie, The Big Bang Theory and Wilfred.

Louie its kind like Seinfeld but more mature.

BBTheory is all about the nerds.

Wilfred its with the Frodo guy from the Lord of the Rings, the premise of this show looks really very silly. It starts with the "Frodo guy" trying to commit suicide with pills and after that he starts see her neighbor dog as a man wearing a dog suit and he talks, but its very well written and funny specially if you like dogs and you understand a little how their minds works.

Little Correction, Vince Gilliggan isn´t the creator of the X-Files, that was Eric Kripke who is also the creator of Supernatural. But Vince Gilliggan worked alot on the X-Files too.

Oh I always remember seeing his name on the credits, I though he was the main dude behind x-files but I never did any search about so I guess you are right, thanks.

Grey's and Korra are really the only shows I watch regularly. I keep trying to get into Glee, but for some reason I always forget about it completely. :err I've been seeing a bunch of previews for Nashville lately. It looks like it'll be good.

If I remember correctly, Chris Carter created the X-Files but I'm not 100% certain. I used to watch that show and was a hardcore fan. I look back at it now and I'm like, what was I thinking when I liked this show??? :lol :lol

........oh.... you are right, looks like eric kripke never had anything to do with the x-files... why was i so absolutely sure about it???

@Psychedelic667
Vince Gilligan was involved in more than hundred episodes

Family guy would be okay if the jokes didn't last too long.
Time-wasting, I call it.
Like that bull frog scene.
A minute of nothing.
