I thought the HD remake had already been released...I could swear I saw it in the PSN store a while back...but I cant find it now so I'm probably mistaken.

DLing it now and apparently you get special oufits from the demo that you can use for the full game. (i think thats what it said.)
im kinda on edge about playing the demo though. i like going into a game blind.....as in not seeing early gameplay, only teasers and a handful of screenshots. i wonder if the demo will give too much away :/

I already put in my preorder for FFX/X2 remaster Limited Edition. Played some of the Lightning Returns demo, really enjoyed it and was glad the battle system is still good.

No, I'm gonna hold off. The reviews are pretty tepid. Here's to hoping they can return to form with FF15.

I got the game already. Screw the reviews, im so sick of this hate for FF, that shit is getting old. Everyone always gets so caught up in the hype only to be dissapointed. We all know what FF has become, and yet people still have that hope that its going to be something different. its not, and never will, just like Resident Evil will never be the same, or Need for speed (horrible examples i know). It's either you enjoy it for what it is now, or just move on and quit getting into the damn hype.

So far, 4 hours in and its not bad. the battle system is by far one of the greatest in the FF series. Theres not much sense in fighting this time around as leveling is done through side quests so pretty much youre only fighting baddies to get items you need or to gain EP. I really don't like the pressures of being timed, that really bothers me but i'll deal with it, it creates that sense of urgency i guess. I really don't see what reviewers don't like about the story or the characters, its the typical ffxiii story that is hard to put together and the characters really arent that bad. Not everyone can be Cloud and Sephirot, jeez...
Anyways, great game im enjoying it and everyone else should just play it and like it!

That reminds me of the way I got a PS3 mostly because I wanted to play KH3 whenever it came out.
They did a great f***ing job with that, SE. I got bored of waiting for it and now I'm not a fan of the series anymore.

Same here, i got the PS3 to get it as they had said at the time that it was an exclusive title on it

I was ten years old, too.
If it comes out in 2016, it'll have taken half my life.

Just watched it. Loved it though it doesn't quite feel like the game has retained that darker feel it had all those years ago. It is just a trailer for a game that, to me, won't exist until I have a copy in my hand so we shall see. I loved what I saw though. It looks promising! Makes me actually want a ps4. I wonder if the US version will have a Japanese audio track. I think I recognized a voice or two in there.
