The gameplay looks great in that. But It did in FF13 before fanboys started crying and they changed everything back to more turn based battling, looks amazing so far though.

But a mullet? Seriously? You were pretty fine before that.

Ahh. I like the ATB system. I would like to see a return to it someday. I like real time as well though. The battles of 12 were fun, and I liked the gambit system, but I don't think it was necessary. There could have been a less automated solution. My favourite is real time akin to Secret of Mana. Having said that I can't deny playing with gambits was fun.

XV looks perfect. It looks very fast paced, I just hope that there's time for the characters (me) to gather their (my) thoughts. And that there are dark and moody parts in the game. The narrative is the most important part of Final Fantasy to me, above the gameplay.

Very impressed by the Behemoth and Iron Giant monsters in the vid Kij posted. Immediately made me think of Ultimecia Castle ^^ and I saw Leviathan there in that cutscene at the end! Getting excited.

I guess I'm the only one here that doesn't like the look to FFXV. To me it just looked like a hack and slash. I'll keep an eye out for it but I'm not seeing myself wanting it as of currently.

I have to admit it doesn't look very strategic, but its impossible to tell just from what we've seen. It's a main Final Fantasy so I don't expect a generic hack n slash. If it is that will be a major disappointment... and especially because the characters look so aweome. What a waste it would be! I think this main protagonist looks cool. Perhaps the coolest yet

It looks good actually but STILL they insist in interrupting the fucking gameplay. WHY? Why can they just not have a small message box in the corner of the screen that pops up that tells you poor or great and at the end of the fight when you gain EXP. Why must they interrupt the fluid style of play with a battle intro and outro. What is the point?.

Even Lightning looked like fucking Cloud and Vaan ffs.

It's always some innocent pretty boy usually an orphan, idk. Square has this habit of reusing character stereotypes so freaking bad.

The noble Princess type trying to save her land. Ashe, Yuna, Garnet, Aeris etc.
The prettyboy main character with issues against society: Squaal, Cloud, Tidus, Vaan etc.
The kooky girl/childhood friend: Riku, Penelo, Tifa, Vanille, Rinoa, Eiko etc.
The Bamf Tank that doesn't say much: Basch, Amarant Coral, Adelbert, Snow etc.

etc etc etc. You get the gist.

I mean they could try harder, like they tried with Lightning I guess but still.
