Sorry there matey....I read what you were after and went off to have a think, I was gonna post back when I had something for ya.

Nice work so far by the way :cheers , like the logo and the station rocks.

Im with Baboo on the whole northern lights (could be your course name?) and fireworks but Im a more of a dusk person.

I'll go away again and think some more :)

Tue Nov 07, 2006 11:24 am

Add more trees and cool effects, like baboo said, fireworks etc. :)

Wed Nov 08, 2006 5:04 am

Add a yeti towards the end. That you can hit.
Like the pinguins in Aloha Ice Jam.
That was fun.

I've just jotted down a couple of sketches for how you could do the top part of the run. I incorporates the start arena, yeti's stepping stone rail slide and one of the concept grand stands for ssx 3. I will stick it on here once I find the cable that connect the scanner to the printer.

Wed Feb 21, 2007 9:12 am

Here is the second image. I need to split the first in two as it is too large. The first is (wiil be) the start of the track and this second one is the next bit.

There is a second half to this sheet which will be added later.

Wait dont bother. The files are to big and it wont let you get to them.

Wed Feb 21, 2007 1:41 pm

hey sajjetta, I cant see the images "hotlinking restricted" message pops up!!!!!

Wed Feb 21, 2007 2:03 pm

Aparently you can only hotlink to files that are less than 350kb or something like that. Each sheet as a whole was about 4'500kb and so is way too big. And its pointless choppng it into smaller bits. Ill see what I can do but Im pretty useless when it come to stickng stuff on the net. Any suggetions or solutions welcome. :dead

ill start sketchin some stuff although i might not post it for a week or two, but first i need to know some details...is this track placed at the top or bottom of the peak? does it go through any forest? does it end in a city? is it moody and foggy (intimidator), happy and sunny (snow jam) or stormy (gravitude)?

p.s. Yeti, that stepping stone rail and the spectator jump are wicked awesome!!

Thu Feb 22, 2007 8:22 am

Ill try that.

As to the tracks site. My drawrings started it off just under a peak. It went down a ridge. Off to one side where it zigzagged down with a couple of short cuts. Last of all I sent it of a jump, was going to send it into some woods but got stuck on posting the images. :) I like woods but personaly dont think it should end in a city.

Thu Feb 22, 2007 8:41 am

ok... i decided to start sketchin straight away and heres what i came up with...ive used Yeti's idea of a jump over a spectator stand...hope you dont mind Yeti :heh

I did what you suggested but every time I try to upload the images it pops up with the, internet explorer can not display the webpage, page. And nothing uploads. Will see what can do.

Nice tweak to the spectator jump.
:cheers

that means the file is too large...try decreasing the resolution (the number of pixels width x height) so that when you open the image with internet explorer the picture is a reasonable size...then try uploading it

I Had already re scanned the first sheet in two halves. Hopefully the immage should appear below...

Image

If its there it shows the site for my Idea of the start. Once out of the grand stand arena the track widen and drops to vertical. It then doubles back under its self and goes into a cave under the start area. Cave is narrow then splits into two. Caves join and widen as you are spat out into the abyss. Then land on a powder bowl.

EDIT: That worked so now I wil cut the sketches into smaller more managable pieces. Ill stick them on this post once done.
But probably wont finish it today.

Ok heres the rest of the first sheet.
side view of start

Second Part of top down sketch

Out of the cave..

And the second sheet

The powder bowl in the top let is the same as the one in the the firs sheet bu the view pint is now 90 deg clockwise from what it was.
