So I'm not really happy with the face, but my power is flickering and when I lose it I don't know how long it'll be out for, so I guess I'll just post this now.

I guess this was supposed to be a series thing with everyone doing their sig tricks, but Kaori took forever so I've sort of lost all motivation to go through with it. It's good practice, though, so I'll do some more at some point. I know I retconned it by having her do her old Pirouette Grind, but the new one is too depressing.

That looks truly awesome! Kaori's body looks like it's directly from the game, and her face looks more...realistic, for the lack of a better word. Love the ambient background, would look sweet in A1 poster size!

i know i'm a bit late to the game, but i gotta say, lights your shit is awesome!

every time i wanna give tips i hope i don't sound like a condescending douche, but i'll do it anyway.

what program do you use? do you have adobe illustrator? if so, i would suggest trying to use that for coming up with some of your shapes. you can make much more 'perfect' looking shapes in illustrator using the pen tool (which is a pain in the ass to learn, but once you've learned it, it's magical). i would say fuck around in illustrator a lot as it might help your process a little bit.

but otherwise, keep it up! i wanna see more!

Haha, don't worry about it Tunes; you don't sound condescending at all and I love getting tips. I usually use Paint Tool SAI. I don't have Illustrator, although I did try it once and I have to say, I hated it. I guess it's one of those things where you just have to suck it up and learn it, but it just feels so contradictory to the way I work. Regardless, I see what you mean about the edges/shapes being messy, and I could definitely make them cleaner with a little more work. Thanks for the advice as always!
