When I play ssx1 on the slimline ps2, it gets extremely hot after like 30 minutes. Is it supposed to do this or is this a ps2 problem?

when I play ssx1 on my regular ps2, it vibrates and makes noises that don't sound very well...i wonder if it's because it's a blue disc and the laser has a hard time reading it, maybe?

Mine rumbles like crazy on ssx1 also, your prolly right vix.

Put the PS2 on it's side.

Happens both ways with ssx1 for me Every other game is fine though.

I've even put the ps2 upside-down, on either side, facing the wall, etc...still rumbles and still won't play most(if not all by now) blue and black discs.

Yeah definetly that CD problem...

My SSX1 disc is not a blue neither black disc.
