When I play ssx1 on the slimline ps2, it gets extremely hot after like 30 minutes. Is it supposed to do this or is this a ps2 problem?

when I play ssx1 on my regular ps2, it vibrates and makes noises that don't sound very well...i wonder if it's because it's a blue disc and the laser has a hard time reading it, maybe?

I've even put the ps2 upside-down, on either side, facing the wall, etc...still rumbles and still won't play most(if not all by now) blue and black discs.

Why do you guys even bother saying blue/black/silver, you realize the only difference is CD/DVD. -_-

Mine's scratched a lot, and it freezes everytime I play. So I don't play it much.
