Merqury City

Is it just me, or is Merqury City loaded with glitches. I've got two that I know of, that I haven't seen listed. (I'm not crazy about glitches on SSX Tricky, so I don't go looking them up online, or anything.)

The best I can explain this is the "highway jumps". It's after the bridge, with that boat on the side. In show off, after the bridge, there's three rails to land on. If you jump in any other mode, there's a chance of landing on those rails, but they're invisible.

After that, you know when you fall down, you can ride back up on that glass thing? Well if you don't fall off, and jump JUST PAST THAT, but not on the snow, you'll land on some concrete, and go under the snow.

Yeah, that's about all I got. I don't do shortcut glitches.

yea, well there are too many glitches in ssx "glitchy" but are either of those glitchhes helpful in anyway, timewise i mean.

I don't believe this one much of an advantage, no, since the "official" glitch shortcut can be accessed way before that. The earlier a glitch shortcut can be hit, the more advantage it is, since they all warp you to the same place. The worst offender of this is the one in Elysium Alps.

Yeah, Elysium Alps! There is a glitch immediately at the starting line, when you press forward on the stick. I've had it happen only once yet. I started dropping for about 90 seconds before pressing "select", only to discover I ended up back at the starting line -alone- and with some serious catching up to do! :eek

This is one of those "useless" glitches, not the one gondee was refering to in EA.

*think* At least I hope so. Maybe I pressed "select" too early and could have gotten an immortal racing score..

Ha, I knew some, but never really looked for them. When I saw some of Firebrand's and Gondee's runs, I had to keep back my WTF! It was right in front of them and EA and I didn't want to look like a pansy. :heh

Don't worry Krispy, I had the same reaction watching FBX's vids. His level of perfection is just way beyond mine when it comes to racing. He just thinks up 101 little things that lower your time that I could never do. I think the EA guys saw ME saying "WTF" to FBX's vids, if that's what you were worried about. :heh

It's really quite easy, all you need is yourself, some wipped cream and a video camera... :eek

If you haven't got a camera you can just use the whipped cream, and throw it around when people are watching the vid..

y is there so many glitches in ssx tricky, in the first one, there were barely any, maybe like 1 or 2 but they never helped u, thats y i like ssx better than tricky, i was so amazed when i saw master runs of the first one, then i saw some tricky ones and thought it was just....gay, there isnt as much skill, i hate the glitches!!!!! the runs were corny especially the elysium alps one, i hope people dont find any in ssx 3

Merqury city is one of my favorite courses....actually one time i was snowboarding using JP and i came off the mountain at the beginning of the course and i hit the big green ball that wuz there and it fell off and it kind of ran over Psymon...ooooops lol...i could not quit laughing.
