I know this is probably posted quite a bit but i was reading the walkthrough and i couldnt find anything about the best way to get those trickbooks completed. Im sure you guys are all "1337" or whatever and i was just wondering if you could help a little "Noobzar" like me out. anyway if you guys have any dandy little guides or hits for me to get those idiotic 5th lvl trickbook done i would apreaciate it.(is there any way to spin faster i cant do a frickin 1260). thanks

I assume that you know how to pre-wind. Hold X and the directional button(s) you want to spin/flip in and then release X and keep holding the directions while you're in the air. The first jump on Garibaldi (if you're playing Tricky) and the second jump on Elysium Alps (if you're playing the first) are good to do those complex tricks with 1620s and triple frontflips.

If the trick has more of a flip than a spin (or more of a spin than a flip) than hold one direction more than the other when you pre-wind and rotate.

For example: FS Misty 900 Nosegrab

1: Hold X and the frontside spin direction with just a little forward flip and jump off a ramp (or other stucture, you know).

2: As soon as you see that your character performed the front flip, take your finger off of forward and hold the spin direction only.

3: Count in 180s until your rider does a 900 and hold a nosegrab (almost always L1+L2) for about a second.

I completed my entire trick book using the first jump on Garibaldi, personally.

I personally, after my first two trick books, played around with them, to see how fast I could get them. I could get through 3 chapters in one race at Garibaldi with minimum stats and still get the gold .

the 4 chapter was hard as fuck...I could do all 3 chap's in one event with gold
