what is the select button that i hear about? (i play on gamecube)

Technicaly, we have no select button. BUt if you're wondering about 'Select Tricks', you need to use the Y button. It can all be found in Gondee's master Faq on the homepage of MC http://www.merqurycity.com
A select trick involves pressing select (or Y in our case) at a certain point to get a boost forward, or to get somewhere otherwise impossible to get to.
