YES!!!!!
i've been playing GH the last weeks now and i've been quite busy with many things really but then I decided to play Tricky again and GUESS what... after one hour of playing I bgot 4.37 million in alaska!!! and the run wasn't even perfect so 4.5 million is possible maybe I will go for that later if I have the time. the vid will hopefully be up on youtube within the next week.

Holy crap dude. You know, the funny thing is a lot of us have had that exact same experience - you play your head off getting nowhere, turn if off for a few weeks, and then bust out something you never would have been able to otherwise.

Because there aren't a mass of master runs of top scores for noobs to copy over and over until they collectively come up with some score a few points higher or a time a few miliseconds faster.

yes i know how u feel i've done many videos and now i only hold 1 world record when it was 6 
but tricky isn't that good because some random bullshit will always happen like riding a rail and all of a sudden u fall right through it for no apparent reason 
or riding past a pole and hitting an invisible wall 
it's just stupid and also the dam flakes glitch out well it is a old game so it's not going to be that perfect.

meh, videos were only an issue with MrChaos and pipedream. I have several vids on youtube, and even though they are like 6 years old (and some are several hundred thousand short of my actual record), people still haven't come close. So I think it's more the general lack of competition than the vids. But if it were vids, that would explain how dead Race is ssx1 race is seriously a mystery to me, I can't get within 20 seconds of most records.

Upon my complete and utter retirement of SSX, I will release a run of my 2:16 on Merqury City, and on that day everyone will truly understand the sheer perfection of the best SSX game of the series.

gondee - Ah, didn't even notice they're up! Good stuff! But you might want to change that my Garibaldi run isn't live...
BlackDth - I've tried SSX1 several years ago and I decided to pick it up again and see what's possible to reach there... and I am sure that although your scores are pure class, they still can be beaten. One just needs to do 99% smooth runs all the way...
I'll definitely give it ago once I am done with Tricky.

I cant find some video on MR section like SD 2.2 Mill, Mesa 2.8 mill, PD 2.9 mill etc. even they are at youtube. Why gondee? you should put them in M.R. section.
