:) well then submit it in Master of SD. 2.226 million is unbeatable with my path.

Mon Dec 29, 2008 5:30 pm

Well I guess it is going to stay that way.

WOW Frost that is an amazing score! Tricky is getting very boring for me these days, but I got a good run of 2:13.84 in Garibaldi (yes I also race a bit) so maybe that will be my last highscore, I don't know.
Happy new year to everybody! :cheers

Pretty darn good, indeed! Nice video, tbh! Well done there, Eddy.

Was surprised that you missed on a lot of flakes, really. Missed 8-9 possible flakes and wasted a lot of time.. So yeah, like you said earlier; 4.5m is possible. And nah, I will not be bothering to beat it, although the chances are very small for me to beat it, but still.. Got already Garibaldi to struggle with... But yeah, looking forward to a clean 4.5m video, indeed! Again; well done! Especially since the video is LIVE!

Congratulations. ;)

Thanks man :)

When I think it over then 4.5 million is a bit too high but 4.4 million is definately possible but I'm not saying that 4.5 million is impossible. We'll see as the time goes by. But now I'm a bit tired of Alaska, so I won't try at first.

BTW- Any progress on Garibaldi?

Sun Jan 25, 2009 1:50 am

Dude, that was epic! And you figured out how to put music to your movie without pushing "play" on your CD player. :lol

Nice job on so many flakes, loved going backwards up that rail in the beginning. Elgen was right, and you missed so many! I can't wait to see how high you can push it. :yes

I'd love to host this if you can upload it to a hosting service of some sort. :yes

Well, I do believe my friend, so if he says that 4.5m is doable, then I guess it is possible. But then again, hitting ALL the flakes spot on is the more troublesome part.. But heck, nice work on that 4m run, for sure! My friend will probably hit Alaska as soon as he can, whenever that is. Heh.

Well, as you already know, I haven't played too much Tricky these days, but I am going to hit it for an hour or so after this post. Progress is going goodiegood, actually. Trying to see what's possible to change from my current route according to my old route. Although my route's quite straight forward (as expected), it has some changes! If I look at your route, then there are some twists here and there. I've screwed up a couple of times in the end of the stage, so that sucks. But yeah, I am working on it.. It'll take time to beat that record of yours, indeed. Heh. Also, IF I somehow manage to beat that record of yours, I'll make sure to record a replay route as it's not possible for me to make a live video..

Which stage(s) are you going to hit after Alaska then?

Thu Jan 29, 2009 1:41 pm

:jawdrop elgen got 3.7 million in garibaldi and he showed a pic in a pm to me. that's almost unbeatable so maybe I will never get that WR back but I'll do my best :brucelee

Fri Jan 30, 2009 2:15 am

:cheers almost it is unbeatable i can see how he did it or maybe he took a better new path. if u have a nuff time at the end u can hit 100 k with the x2. Garibaldi was always Hard :frusty for me in my 3.387 million run i missed 220 k i could of got 3.6 million + but 3.7 million is unbeatable. i guess PD can now show his 3.7 million pic or video now. i'm happy with my 3.4 million score. :pimp

Fri Jan 30, 2009 4:59 am

The problem for me is that I don't have enough time to take the rail back up and hit 100k on the 2x at the end. When I reached the finish, I had like 0.5~ left... But then again, I would've had enough time to perfect the other jumps. I screwed up quite a few jumps, which means that 3.8m is doable, but about everything must be done with spot-on accuracy, tbh.

Yeah, I guess that PD could show that highscore now...

That is my problem too, because the path takes a very long time to do; you know, going backwards many times and stuff.

MrChaos was a master of doing the course fast making it no problem for him. maybe we should think the same way.

BTW- I got 3.55 million in Garibaldi a while ago but still far from your record though. And when is your Epic video coming????? :??? :???

Wed Feb 04, 2009 2:07 pm

Congrats for these scores men, i'm very impatient to watch your vids :)

I don't know if I was a master per say but I tried to find the best possible routes that would score the maximum amount of points within a certain time period. Garibaldi was always a tricky course (pun intended) for me. If I had a PS2/PS3 right now I'd jump on it; however, I'm minus one.

Wed Feb 04, 2009 10:52 pm

Don't shortchange yourself Chaos. I know your rep took a hit with the SSX 3 drama but I've always considered you top 3 Tricky guys no problem. :yes

Mon Feb 09, 2009 7:08 pm

Yeah, you're easily one amongst the top Tricky showoffers, MrC. Eddy and THL too. I've got a lot of showoffin' to learn from you dewds.

I'll not call my run an epic one, especially since it's not a live run, but yeah, it will be up whenever I can get meself either a) TV-card, b) PVR or c) camcorder. Until then, I just have to wait, but yeah, the video will be up soon, I hope! :)

naya, goodie to get props from you! You were one of the first to come up with a nice 3.x mill video. Hehe.

Yeah, the time is quite short when you reach the goal IF you follow my route, but after a quick "research", one can do better than my route as well as getting a higher score (3.8mill) and probably have enough time to go for the last 2X flake as well, but not 100% sure on that one, by far. Will have to look into that whenever I can.

Eddy, ah. You're getting closer and closer there. Nice work! Which one's did ya miss..?

Tue Feb 10, 2009 5:08 am

Chaos, you ARE a master. 3.75 million in Elysium Alps says it all if you ask me...

Nice to hear that you didn't lose that replay or something elgen, I was getting worried :sad but not any more :)

I have to thank naya for his Garibaldi vid on youtube because that gave me the inspiration to get 3 million+ myself. :china and when I got 3 million I began working on the other tracks and tried to get highscores there( that worked for me elgen, so you should try it too).

And elgen: why haven't you accepted my friend invite on youtube? your channel is oriug, right?

With all the big scores dropping I want to go back to EA eventually. I know 4 Million is certainly attainable!

Tue Feb 10, 2009 9:23 am

Yeah, Chaos. You should get back to EA once you get yourself a PS2/3. Would be great to have you back for full. And yes, I agree with you on that one.. 4mill is "easily" within the reach on EA. The problem will be to get the score that high, of course.

Eddy, yeah, I've still got the replay. No worries there, mate. When the video's up, it'll be on YT and here, for sure. :cheers

Hmm... Sorry, mate. Thought it was automatic, but yeah, you're accepted now.

Wed Feb 11, 2009 12:02 pm

Man, I feel as though a sequel to Masters of SSX Tricky are a must with these huge improvements, wouldn't you agree? :pimp I mean it's only been 6 years since I (along with Chaos and Yoshi) did the vid LOL
