I've always liked watching speedruns of SSX Tricky, but I began to notice something. Various runners are doing a trick that doesn't seem to give any points or display the trick name, but it does fill up a bit of boost.

Basically the runners quickly point the nose of the board foward and backward, and it makes the "tweak" noise. I've never seen this when I play or even done it on accident. Is this a trick or a glitch?

If you need an example, Kelecat does it during the giant fan pipe in Tokyo Megaplex.

Sounds like a tweak cancel, you can do one by starting the tweak and letting go of the grab right when the tweak would start.
