So.....apparently, "SSX iPhone" was revealed in March 2009. It had been delayed since then, and nothing else has surfaced since May 2010.

Quite obviously, there will never be an iPhone SSX in the near future. As I hope everyone else is, I'm glad that we're getting a next-gen version instead of one for a product made by APPLE.

But it still makes me wonder...what happened? Did "Snowboard Hero" kill it off, or was it that the game got very little popularity (I remember reading somewhere that SSX: Deadly Descents became hugely talked about on Twitter or something shortly after its reveal). Does anyone know for sure?

i don't know the integrity of any handheld SSX game, but i probably wouldn't have got it for my apple product iPhone even if it did come out. it'd probably be really lame.

yeah. It just seems to make more sense to build the game for the big platforms and do what they've been showing off with the ridernet app on phones.
