Yo!

I heard about something that you can add MP3's to your EA BIG radio.

What MP3's would you add? (as in genres)

Mine would be lots of progressive house and breaks! Maybe some real hard metal to make ppl crazy! :eek Muahahaha! lol! I love it! :D

I think they meant you can buy more songs from the game. But if you can get MP3's then I would get a bunch of my other favorite songs up there. I wonder how that will work.

I doubt u will be able to upload new songs(mp3s), but that would be nice. it sounds like u can buy songs with the money u earn in the game and then make your own playlist on your mcom thingy down in the corner of the screen, which is pretty cool, that or listen to the radio, which it sounds like u have to listen to the radio at least every now and then because i think thats how u hear about some of the challenges and junk that are going on around the mountain!

There's not many PS2 games where you can use your own music. I have a small-but-neat title here that does this. It is called "Vib-Ribbon".

ps: you won't believe the graphics... :)

I think if you have an XBox you can put your own songs in the game...

Thats for some games on Xbox only....not all. But the ps2 will take advantage of the hard drive coming out soon...

Hey Ettepet, is that "vib ribbon" a game where there is a stick like figure that walks along a string(ribbon) and the ribbon does all kinds of weird stuff because of the beats in the music, cause if it is that is possibly the weirdest game i have ever seen! is it even game or do u just watch it? P.S.- in a perfect world i would be able to download mp3s from WinMX straight to my ps2 and play them while conquering the mountain!!

It is, and -yes- it is a game.

You interact with the music, a bit like "Rez" (another one of those great "unknowns"). Rez was the game I started playing after playing Tricky for 6 weeks straight, and is one of my PS2 favorites.

I'm thinking that since all the races take place on one loaded peak, which takes well over 30 minutes to get down quikly... i think ssx could easily incorporate a hot swap method of letting you play your own music. U could do it (but weren't supposed too) on most ps1 games.

Even though I read that there aren't any "Pause"- or "Loading"-screens anywhere on the mountain, I still think that lots of stuff will be loaded from the SSX3 DVD during play. I would love the opportunity to switch tracks though! :cool
