Seeing the 'UK' in that hashtag, I'd love it if you asked about why Moby got so fat. Of all the character designs, Moby is the one which seems to have deviated most from the previous games.

The 'nomadic,' 'tribal' "cold-weather specialist" incarnation of Moby neither looks nor particularly sounds like the trendy Londoner I remember. (Not sure if he's actually from London, but I'm sure someone can correct me if they've got the bio handy.)
For an additional bit of UK-cred, I'd love to know whether they plan on using any Doctor Who references in his character dialog. (Hopefully not "It's bigger on the inside," since that's pretty much the problem with the character model.)

Other than that, the standard array of questions:
- Where the hell is Allegra?
- Will the characters have multiple / customizable outfits (not just gear)?
- Can they reveal any artists/songs on the soundtrack?
- Any word on the demo?
- No, seriously. Where the hell is Allegra?

Why would they use Doctor Who references? :/

Because he's British, and that's something that we Americans stereotypically associate with the UK.
The show has actually become relatively popular here in America since the BBC brought it back.

I'm not saying that his dialogue should be all catchphrases (he's not Eddie, afterall)....but one throwaway line, here or there, just to show that there's still some Brit left in our nomad.

Honestly, as an Englshwoman, I do not want Moby associated with that load of cack.

For a majority of reasons, First there's better shows more quentisentially English.
Second, I don't think Moby really has the personality to be sat watching Dr. Who on a Saturday night
Third, although characters are a big thing it just deviates away from where the game is heading.

He really doesn't need Dr. Who to show he's English.

Really though, The BBC are assholes and broke, it won't get in without a hefty price being paid to use it and I don't think EA would do that when they can make their own more memorable quotes.

Fair enough; I'm not going to argue against an Englishwoman over the cultural cache of Doctor Who (although I will say that I think Steven Moffat is one of the better TV writers in either the US or the UK).

Just for the record, I don't think EA licensed Eddie's "Rebel Leader to base, I'm hit!" line in Tricky from LucasArts, even though it's an obvious Star Wars reference. I would assume they could do something similar with the Doctor, if they chose to do so. (It's not like I'm saying he should ditch the helicopter pilots and drop out of the TARDIS to start a run.)

Regardless, I'd like to see something in the process that at least calls to mind the United Kingdom when designing for a guy who can literally have an impression of the British flag tattooed on his chest in SSX3.

Moffat is excellent I just detest Dr. Who it's just.... really bad and childish, idk im bias I just don't think it's Moby like if that makes sense.

With the Helicopters being kind of boring so far I would rather see the TARDIS though if im honest :heh

Hi and thank you for offering to ask them on behalf of this community.

I only have one big question:
-Will they offer Mount Fuji as downloadable content for Xbox 360 owners at some point?

i would imagine that Fiji will be available to everyone at some point. probably a bit further down the line, but i can't not see it being DLC. i would be very surprised if it wasn't.

I thought Americans mostly associated Harry Potter with the UK. :lol

Oh, and also, ask about collision detection; the GC trailer showed riders riding almost on top of each other so kinda got me worried.

Will we have any form of customization in the game? If not, how do the devs plan on differentiating different racers online aside from the names?

can you apply unlocked board artwork to any board so you aren't stuck with a board that has optimal stats are graphics you don't like?

yeah that would be sweet, especially considering the fact that there will be so many fan submitted boards. though that's a lot of board customization. i would expect that this would not happen, but i would be super stoked if it did.

Ok, so you're all aware: the interview has now been conducted, and will be going online as soon as I can type it up. There are two parts - my questions, followed by all your questions, as well as a little bonus that I think you guys will really love.

Oh, also, there may be some information that you guys will definitely want to know. In other words, make sure you read it as soon as it's online!

The post will be up on the EA site which, of course, I'll be sure to link you to.

There also may or may not be something a little special for the Merqury City forums... :)
