I'm a huge fan of ssx3... I heard they messed up Kaori's character, which i hate, but overall, is this game just as great as the others?

It is very fun, there are not mandatory challenges like with SSX3 or anything like that. But just playing the game is fun, albeit they messed up everyone's character, even Elise and Zoe in my opinion. Still it's great fun, the "story" is fun, and the online events are awesome. Heck even explore is awesome because they give you challenges and what not. It may not have all the other things character wise or what not, but the core gameplay makes up for it. |

I'd say it is worth it. The game itself is very cool and, imo it's a little "crazy" compared to other SSX games. And by crazy I mean the speed, the amount of tricks that can be done and most of all, WINGSUITING!!!

Yes its worth it, its fun as hell and has good music. They kinda fucked up psymons crazy look and made him look normal which i hate, but i'll hate to say that he is kinda getting old. He is my fav character of every game but ssx 2012 is still fun. World tour is very short, but explore will keep you busy for days. |

It was worth the $60 I paid for it, so it is certainly worth the $15 or however much it is now. You might not find many online users on the slopes, but the game felt sort of empty to begin with anyways. Also, they did a whole lot better with Kaori here than they did in On Tour. Plus, if you get the DLC, her Tricky character is playable. |

Worth it? For like $5? Hell yeah it's worth it. It's a spiritual successor/update to the series. NOW - with that said, don't expect SSX3. It's a different, more frustrating beast. Lots of pitfalls can ruin a run, so if you love the old school games you may find the new ones very frustrating. But regardless, it's a fitting update to the series. |
