PS3 Customs

I just set these 3 up:

100 million - Trick It - Alaska - Foraker - The Dilemma - no restrictions - 1 week
100 million - Race It - Siberia - Boris - Diamondback - no wingsuit - 1 week
100 million - Survive It - Antarctica - Mt. Craddock - Headshot - no wingsuit, gear or rewinds - 1 week

If possible, you should get on and just do a single, quick run asap to open it up to more people. Then put the effort in to post good runs later, when you're ready. But the earlier you get into the events, the more time there will be for others on your friends list that aren't on mine as well to find the events and open them up to even more people.

thats the way it usually works.

I've jumped on the trick and race events - now all I need is some proper time to devote to having a good crack at them!

The latest in my series of Corkscrew custom races has started.
There's not a lot of call apparently for Corkscrew customs ... but I am doing one a week with increasing drop cost and levels.
This week

Corkscrew - race - level 3 - 30m - no gear - 1 week

(next week level 4 / 40m etc)

Corkscrew and Redlight are GREAT drops - prob'ly my favourites right now. Great for learning shortcuts and delicate handling.
Once you have mastered the routes its easy to ignore the pits.

No - sadly it was just you and me. It can be lonesome in those caves can't it?

I don't think ppl really like Africa that much - but after studying and practising Corkscrew & Redlight i got to love them.

Your times in Explore on both those are tip-top. I tried for ages yesterday to beat them - but no dice. Nowhere near.

Hehe thanks man. They are my favourites. The Red Light time that I got, the run itself is really flawed... I make a lot of mistakes throughout the run... I've was following my ghost trying to beat it but kept crashing. I will get a new time out soon I think

my corkscrew time is quite hard to beat now though, I have mortens WR as the ghost I'm following there.

I got a 2:09 in GE but I'm buggered if I can do it again in Explore (on Corkscrew).
I use the same line as you I think ... and I can follow ok. In fact - once or twice I overtook you. But it all ended in tears every time.
I realise that after I've tried something for 2 hours its best to give it a rest and try again later - before insanity sets in :woot

Yeah same lol. I was trying to beat my time yesterday - :gameboy

following Mortens ghost... and he has an absolutely perfect start. In about 2 hours of retrys I NEVER got a better or even equal start to him! He was ALWAYS ahead after the first couple of jumps out of the helicopter... I mean you'd expect out of the many, MANY retrys (I kept crashing) I would at least get a head start ONCE, even just out of luck!... and well, yes, that did happen! This ONNNNNE time...

I got a rail glitch that boosted me forwards and I was ahead!

But then I got magnetised to the rail just after and it screwed me over and I saw Morten fly past. Well at first I was screwing then I though at least I am free to rewind and see that glitch again!

So here it is: sorry for the bad quality, I am going to get hooked up with good quality recording soon. This is recorded on my phone

pity those glitches can't be replicated.

I had one on Trickypedia where i tricked out of the copter and was hurled over that house thing and halfway down the track in like a split second.
I was so shocked i bailed.... and then didn't even think to rewind to take a look what happened.

A lot of people take vacation around labor here in the states, plus it is back to school time. That's my guess anyway.
