The double XP weekend was perfect for leveling up and is much appreciated. Got 5 of the 6 characters I wanted at level 11 up there including 4 of the retro.

My favorite retro is definitely Kaori......between the board and outfit I have for her, she is like a flying ball of neon and I love it. Moby is a close second and he is definitely the biggest improvement IMO.

STILL have not tried out Mt Eddie. Was planning on it yesterday, but got sucked into Burnout on Everest which is a great trick drop now. Looks like work is getting rained out today and the GF is working all day so Mt Eddie should happen today.

I am ready for level 12 though whenever it hits.

Moby easily went from least favourite to absolute favourite with his retro look. I have him in the perfect outfit right now and he's so much fun to play as.

Well, I'm glad to see the Double XP weekend helped a lot of you. I played multiple times and it didn't even level up one bar on any of my characters. It was totally random and frustrating for me. I dunno why, just didn't work for me. :(

I'm all for a level up boost tho. Level 12 would be crazy good. :D

At first it was going very slow for me too, but someone on this forum said if you in place diamond bracket and just repeat that event, no matter what your later scores will be, you'll get 100 000 XP each time you finish. The first time you finish you just get like 10 000XP.

^ This was the trick wild flowers. We were making 200,000 XP for every run and on somewhere simple like The Hammer or Bulldog, wingsuiting it to the bottom after placing diamond with each character took little time at all. I will crack on and continue this after I get home next week, though obviously without the double XP.

I never had to place in diamond with each character. I would place in diamond with my level 11 and then after that run, switch it and then each run netted me 100k (200k for double xp). Never had to place in diamond more than once as long as I stayed in diamond.

Getting plat or diamond on the big air drop on Mt. Eddie was how I got my last two characters up. Ranked platinum in the custom GE and took ~30 seconds per run using a wingsuit, so I ended up with about 320k exp every minute and a half :P

Hmm, well I did what Vix pretty much did. Finished a Global event with an lvl 11 character, scored diamond, then played the track again with a lower leveled character. It was very random for me, it work very little when it did. I figured the system had figured out I was being 'Tricky' and sorta gave up.

Now I know for next time tho. Gonna be more persistent and not so hesitant. ;)

And new characters wouldn't? I'd rather get new characters than adding in more pointless levels.

They already said there would be a level 12. And I'm not realy waiting for new characters anyway. I was hoping the retro characters had better stats or something but there was nothing better about them beside the looks. I'd rather upgrade the ones we have then level a new character thats just the same as the ones we have :) The store hasn't given me much legendary boards or suits with perks so that's something I would like to have in a higher level to get these characters to the max :D
That's just my feeling about it.
Why would you like to have new characters instead of level 12?

I'm quite content with level 12 being the cap.

Notice I started your quote at level 13 :P Level 12's fine for the third gear slot, but enough's enough.

If there's a Mt. Nate like everyone's hoping, a FOURTH gear slot could actually be useful.

You guys wanted to incorporate all the DD's at once right? Like a blizzard inside a pitch black, underground forest with beams of light peeking through just close enough together where careful planning can save you from freezing to death, whose surfaces range from too rocky to ride to too slick to steer, whose bottom features only a few sparse patches of land on which to navigate over the deadly pits below, which also happens to be extremely prone to avalanches, of which the player is asked to race through despite being unable to breathe? Yeah, I'd like more than just my lamp, suit and armor, thank you.

Defo, I certainly wouldn't mind a load of drops with two or more deadly descents (though not oxygen, please not frigging oxygen) Be awesome to do a gravity, cold and avalanche deadly descent. Only going on at the same time rather than Death Zone which is Darkness then gravity then avalanche if you get my drift.

I don't think we'll ever need 4 gear slots. The beauty of Death Zone was that you needed about 3-4 gear items but could only bring 2... that made it way more interesting.

You take the gear items in the parts you fault at. For example if you're bad with reaction times and you make it to a whiteout section, that's when you bring in your goggles. Or if you're unfamiliar with the route you need to take in the darkness section, headlamp. Bad at running away from avalanches or are prone to hitting trees? Armor.

It'd be way too easy doing Mt. Nate with every single gear item equipped. Please don't go beyond level 12, it's really unnecessary.

I'm with Kav on this one. Lvl 12 should be final.

Hypothetically, if you could buy a level rather than have to XP it, would you want to go higher?
